Beachfront vacation rentals in Bergenhus

On a good summer day, you will have to search for a more idyllic place!

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed this beautiful place. Even though its part of a bigger (beautiful!) house because it is across 2 floors the apartment feels spacious. It's very beautifully decorated and feels cosy and warm. The views across the fjord are incredible and seem to change every time you look out of the window. Aleksander and Johanne were responsive, friendly and helpful. The Thai restaurant opposite is fantastic too. The only thing we missed was a comfy chair or sofa - and slippers for our little girl to wear on the wooden floor whilst she was rushing around at speed (bit slippy/splintery in a couple of places). I'm sure this wouldn't affect adults or older kids though! She LOVED the bath and bathroom! The outdoor deck area is lovely, despite a lot of rain during our stay we made use of it. There's a rowing boat you can borrow and sauna to hire too - we didn't as our daughter a bit young but would be great fun! A great place to stay in a beautiful part of Norway!

The house and the location are beautiful! It looks exactly the same as in the photos. Raymond is very nice, helpful and we were able to reach him directly. He even got us a baby high chair. Absolutely recommend 😊

Great accommodation with a beautiful view from the terrace directly onto a fjord! Good location to explore Bergen and especially the countryside around it. Easy and fast communication with Benedicte!

Rolf and Lena's cottage is beautiful and it lacks nothing. The location is unique! Hosts are very friendly. Lena had prepared coffee, Easter pastries and fresh flowers to welcome us. We had a great week here and even saw the Northern Lights.

Arne's place has the most beautiful views of the ocean and that alone makes it worth every penny! My family and I made so many precious memories.And even with such a gorgeous ocean view it is still very conveniently located near a big Kiwi supermarket. House is very cozy and well equipped in every way. 2 sets of BBQ pits, well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. I will definitely recommend staying at Arne's house if you are in Bergen, to me and my family his house was the highlight of our holiday in Bergen.

Such a beautiful cottage, right on the water. Left and right nothing but water and nature. We have rarely seen anything so beautiful. Communication with Oystein was straightforward and easy. Since our navigation system misled us, Oystein helped us out of our predicament very quickly with patience. When we arrived, the heating was already on and it was cozy and warm. The bed was facing the window, so we had a perfect view of the fjord from there. The kitchen was very well stocked for our vacation needs. We prepared simple dishes every day. The attempt to shower with the cold fjord water worked out great, but it is certainly not for everyone. It was a great experience. Oystein has created a little paradise. It is highly recommended to visit this beautiful place and stay there for a few days or longer. We will be happy to come back. Sigrid and Achim

Beautiful spot with small private beach! Excellent views of the water from all rooms. Private and quite, great for the kids and a good spot for excursions to bergen and the fjords

It does not have easy access because you have to walk from the parking, but the instructions were very clear with photos of everything. It was so easy to access like this. Everything is clean and complies with everything it advertises. Responds quickly. Beautiful place!

We had a really relaxing stay at the cabin with the nicest view :) Marius was very precise and detailed in his descriptions and always open for any questions - in total great communication. An amazing opportunity if you are around Bergen to spend a rainy fall weekend where you just want to read your book while looking out the window seeing a wavy sea and colorful trees around but probably even nicer in the summer when you can dip more often into the water and spend most of the time at the balcony. Veronica’s home was beautiful and more than described. Even with somewhat rainy weather we enjoyed her home fully. Our 5 year old daughter was ready to move in after only one day 😂 with all of the fun both inside and outside the space. The house is beautifully lived in and loved. The views and hosts were top notch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The care and attention to the renovation of this historic house is clear everywhere. Beautifully and comfortably equipped, the interiors are such a joy, we adored this house and would recommend to anyone looking for modern amenities in a characterful historic setting. Comfortable beds, beautiful linens, well stocked kitchen, wonderful views and a scenic location less than an hour outside Bergen and looking out over the quaint harbour, this was a really relaxing cosy location to spend Christmas. Would love to visit in summer too. Highly recommended.

Arrival: Contact was easy and you always got feedback very quickly. Even the reception in front of the house was great and it was continued with a detailed briefing of the accommodation. As the pictures promised before, we were not disappointed by the coziness and the full equipment. The hosts are very likable and do their best to satisfy their guests! Location: The accommodation is very close to the sea (1-2 min walk). You can also fish wonderfully from the coast. Departure: Unfortunately, our departure day fell on a Sunday. There are no buses from there on Sundays. But Irene & Jøchen generously offered us their own transport to the airport. Great stay, highly recommended!

Gorgeous little home on the ocean. The host was very responsive and helpful. We had one fantastic meal at the hotel restaurant. The hot tub was also a great addition. One note, the floor is a bit noisy so keep that in mind if you have small children and don’t want to wake them by walking around. Other than that, we would stay here again. Thank you!

What an amazing place!! A very cute and cozy cottage with a spectacular view. We thought that it would be a wonderful place for someone to finish that novel they’ve been working on. 😄 Arild was very helpful and quickly answered all of the questions we had. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Great place with a nice view, lots of space.

Fantastic island house with a lot of character. How special it is to live on an island. The ebb and flow that flows on both sides is special. The house and outdoor spaces are cozy, and everything you could ask for is available. Small disadvantage is that you can hear the main road, which affects the nature experience.

Great house with a great location right by the fjord. There are lots of nice hiking opportunities in the surroundings. In good weather you can go swimming directly in the fjord. The view from the living room is great and the house is comfortably furnished. Everything was lovingly prepared on our arrival.

The remote fjord's end location was stunning. Our modern, airy boathouse, with its numerous windows and skylights, filled with light was comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and convenient. Despite a power outage caused by a storm after our first night, the four of us stayed comfortable and thanks to Julian's updates and instructions we well managed. Easy access from Bergen. I eagerly anticipate my next visit.
