We were very happy with the place. We felt comfortable and can highly recommend it.

I have stayed at several Airbnbs in the past few years and had wonderful experiences with each. This place has been the best place I have stayed. The host Maaike, is absolutely wonderful. Easy to communicate with, helpful, friendly and kind. The place itself is exactly as advertised. A great hideaway not far from several great destinations in the Netherlands. Quiet, comfortable, and private. When I come back to the Netherlands again, I will absolutely stay here again.

The property was amazing, in a very beautiful village with peaceful scenery. The hosts provided us with free bicycles which we used in the mornings to visit nearby villages. We used the hot tub twice and sauna once, which was worth it and very enjoyable. The hot tub and sauna was for our private use and we had full privacy. The only small problem we had was that there were no restroom on the 2nd floor where the sleeping room was. Other than that we definitely recommend the property.

The place was very clean and well-appointed, with everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect, very quiet. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this place.

Jody and Huib welcomed us and our young sheepdog very warmly. The place is just fantastic and beautiful. Even more beautiful than the pictures show. The garden is completely fenced, which made our stay with a dog very relaxing. The location of the place is also great. 20-25 minutes to all west coast beaches. Approximately 50 minutes to Amsterdam. Shopping for everyday needs is available in a supermarket about 5 minutes away by car. We definitely had a very nice vacation and highly recommend this place.

I was very pleased with the entire booking and the stay on site. We weren't there for long, as we were on a fishing trip all over Holland and only used the accommodation for sleeping. However, the accommodation invites you to stay longer. Small cozy garden and you can use the barbecue. The cottage is sufficiently equipped with everything you need. The rooms are a bit small, but if you don't mind, you can have a nice time there.

The accommodation was great, as described and in the pictures. We enjoyed it very much. Only the access road was officially closed and therefore we first had some problem to get to the hut. Nevertheless, we had a great place to stay and would come back at any time! Plus point: dogs allowed!

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

Pieter and his wife were very welcoming. For two people, the space is great, good bed and everything is present. It was nice that the garden was completely fenced so the dog could walk around freely. We'll definitely be back.

For the 3rd year in a row in warm houses in Carlo's cottage. Good order, good communication, neat and clean. Lots to do in the area, sun sea and lots of fun We'll definitely come back

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is in a camp close to other houses but you still have a lot of privacy because of the green fence surrounding the whole garden. Inside of the house is very cozy with very well equipped kitchen and living room with a fireplace. The bathroom is a little bit small but everything you’ll need is there. The beach is like 45 minutes away on foot from the camp and the surrounding nature is very beautiful.

The place is lovingly and cozy. We felt very comfortable right away. Especially recommended with children, as there is enough toys and a great children's room. We were also very happy about the small garden and the bicycles:-). We were very pleased!
