The house at the upper village end of S. Abbondio is a very well-kept, thoughtfully furnished private retreat that offers unique views of the lake, a pretty garden and premises with all the necessary comfort and plenty of space. We felt very comfortable and thank the host family very much.

Very cozy accommodation in the Vercasca Valley. If you like it quiet and secluded, you've come to the right place. The property is equipped with everything necessary. It is worth shopping ahead of time, including firewood. Very recommended.

You were so pleasantly surprised that what a clean beautiful spacious apartment this was. And that there was free parking. It’s very close to the Lido and a fabulous saltwater spa in town. Locarno, is a nice smallish town. Easy to get around. You must take some boat trips on the ferries, even if you just ride them from place to place.

We had a very nice stay at Daniela’s apartment. The apartment is situated on the hill, very close to the street which leads to the beautiful Valle Verzasca. The apartment is very well equipped and very clean. The view on the lake is a dream as well as the small garden with possibility to sit and drink glasses of wine in the evening. The check in is uncomplicated. The communication with Daniela is easy and fluently and we got all information we needed. Thank you for the nice weekend 😊

We spent the Easter holidays in Rustico Gin. It's an incredibly great cottage, we felt very comfortable immediately. It has everything you need, the kitchen is perfectly equipped. Surrounded by nature, there are beautiful places to linger around Rustico and it is a great starting point for hikes or a swim in the Maggia. We will be happy to come back!

The apartment was in the perfect location with a view over the lake spanning a full 180 degrees. We spent most of our time relaxing on the balcony and by the pool as it was so hot whilst we were there. Thanks Luisa for everything and being such a welcoming host. Cheers Paul, Sonje and Liam.

We stayed at the villa for a week after Easter and had great weather! The children are hopped daily in the heated pool while we were able to enjoy our cafe and especially the fantastic view. You have absolute privacy and feel very comfortable. Ms. Bannwart, who manages the house, gave us some good restaurants tips at the beginning and she was immediately available for questions. We highly recommend a stay!

Carmen is friendly and helpful. The location of the apartment is ideal for excursions to the lake or Malcantone and offers a magnificent view of Lake Lugano.

The apartment is very quietly located. We felt very comfortable. The apartment was very well furnished and had everything you needed. A great covered terrace where you could also sit outside in the rain. Outside, it has a great pool. The location of the apartment is really ideal. You can quickly reach Lugano. The bus is a 2-minute walk away. If we go on vacation in Ticino again, it is clear to us that we will rent this apartment again. It's really just great.

Perfect place for our group of 2 couples. One bedroom large and the other small but had a bathroom each. Air conditioning was welcome as it was warmer than we were expecting. Very small, one person kitchen that had everything we needed. Amazing dining room in the tower and very special balcony where we had dinner each evening. A bonus for an airbnb was the included buffet breakfast in the hotel.

We had a great extended weekend at the house. Everything was great, as was the location of the house. there was nothing missing. Thanks for letting us come!

Awesome and very local place in a beautiful part of Switzerland. Not a luxurious stay, but luxury in nature. Beautiful large pool, great night view with lots of lights in Locarno right across the sea. Also very responsive hosts and overall just a great experience. Just make sure you come prepared to be a bit more off-road, so not a lot of shops nearby and buses are only driving every hour or so. Coming with a car is recommended I’d say, but we also had a blast without. Just fyi :)

Great location, quiet away from crowds and great location for exploring the area. Lake access is immediate.
