Vacation rentals in Bean Hollow State Beach

A lovely little cabin in the rustic Lompico hills just outside of Felton. The open floor plan makes the cabin feel very roomy, and the bright interior, together with lots of natural light, makes the place feel very cheery and welcoming. The property sits on a half-acre of gently sloping land ringed by redwoods, it's gorgeous and peaceful. Our dog loved roaming, sniffing around and playing fetch with the tennis balls left by the host. Getting there is quite easy, just follow the host's directions...the narrow mountain road might seem a little daunting at first, but we got the hang of it quickly. About 5 minutes down the road is the Zayante general store for necessities and Felton proper is about 10 minutes away. Loch Lomond is also about 10 minutes away. Lompico is a beautiful area with a cool history (look it up!) and the perfect place to unwind. Thanks for having us!

This is a small, efficient, and private space. It is worth noting that the neighborhood in which it is located consists of very hilly, narrow, curving streets with cars parked on both sides. In some spots the street is too narrow for two cars to pass and there are some blind curves. This is no fault of the host, of course. Once you are there, all is well.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful wooden retreat! The property is even more charming in person and very thoughtfully designed with a cozy, rustic feel, yet fully equipped with all the modern amenities you could ask for. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with love. From the well-stocked kitchen, all toiletries and comfortable bedding to the fast Wi-Fi and relaxing outdoor space, every detail made our stay feel easy and luxurious. The peaceful surroundings added to the overall sense of relaxation, making it a perfect escape. We even celebrated our daughter’s bday and got some amazing personal photography in the house. Caleb was very friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. I would absolutely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and stylish getaway.

Great spot, peaceful and comfortable with all the amenities for a short stay. Hosts are welcoming. The room is attached to the main house so you will hear some noise but it's generally minimal.

This is a wonderful hideaway from the busy cities from the Bay. Very peaceful and relaxing. Many thanks to Shaun for his warm hospitality and recommendations. We stayed two nights and it was delighted to have beautiful clear nights while we enjoyed the amazingly fire pit with endless warmth and star glazing. While the place is going through some renovation but we were able to enjoy the place since it was a weekend stay. The tent sits on a 360 degree deck. We set and had breakfast in the back with the mountain view and listening to bird songs. The bathroom is very lovely and spacious. The shower is great as the hot water was on demand immediately. Love that! A bonus for cat lovers as the resident cats are extremely affectionate and will come and sit on your shoulders. 😊❤️

Staying at the Sea Wolf Bungalow was one of the most special experiences of my life. I had the joy of working with Kim to plan my engagement there, and she made every step seamless, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable. From vendor recommendations to her calming presence, Kim went above and beyond to help create a perfect moment. She welcomed us with such warmth—it felt like staying with family. The bungalow itself is peaceful, beautifully designed, and perfectly nestled in nature. The stunning seaside views, colorful tide pools, and sightings of whales, seals, and other wildlife made every moment feel magical. Kim’s local insight into trails, sights, and hidden gems only added to the experience. The Sea Wolf Bungalow will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and I feel incredibly grateful for the memories made there and for the chance to get to know Kim. Truly the best trip I’ve ever had. Thank you, Kim—for everything.

My husband used this spot to get ready for our wedding. While it was hard to get to, the instructions made it possible. The space was gorgeous inside and out and would have made a fantastic getaway. I would suggest getting there in daytime with lots of snacks so you don’t have to worry about leaving and coming back. This is a beautiful place to hunker down. She was thoughtful as well and left us champagne and chocolate!

Our family had a great stay at Jessica’s (we are neighbors undergoing construction so having this nearby was a godsend!). The casita was beautifully decorated. The deck and porch were so comfortable and inviting. The unit is very clean, parking is easy. Jessica is a great communicator, quick responses. Absolutely recommend Jessica’s place!
