Hotel vacation rentals in Bayfield

Nice and clean, perfect room for what we needed for the weekend and you couldn’t beat the price either, well worth what we paid! Plenty of towels for 2 people, bathroom was nice and clean, if we were staying longer I personally would have used the tub, it was nice and deep! We loved that there were dishes we could use if we wanted to bring back left overs or order in, the Andes mints in the fridge were a pleasant touch and welcoming! We would stay here again!

This place was just as advertised. You cannot get any closer to the ferry and boat cruise line. The motel was quaint and had character. A great place to stay in Bayfield. Everything is within walking distance including restaurants, shops, and hiking trails. We would stay here again!

Well I showed up at the end of Apple Fest, which I had no idea about. Couldn’t get to the location because of traffic control. Called Dave. He totally put me at ease and gave me excellent instructions to my room. This is a sweet small hotel with views of the harbor. I came to Bayfield to eat whitefish livers. I’ll return to Dave’s with family to enjoy the environs. Great customer service. Everything about this stay was more than satisfactory. And the Whitefish livers at Greunke’s were amazing—and it was a block or so walk away. The restaurant is historic and serves way more delicious things than just my livers! Totally recommend to others who want accommodations in this destination. Note my room is for 1or 2 folks.

Right in down town Bayfield- it was such a treat to open the doors and see the ferry to Madeline Island and walk down the street to Wonderstate for coffee and a light breakfast. Wonderful location!

This place was exactly like the pictures. The room was good and clean. The bed was really big which was really nice. The only thing was that the light is yellow so it looks a little dimmer inside. Overall, the place is great and very easy to check-in host has really clear instructions as well. Highly recommended!

We only got to spend one night but the place was as advertised and located in a great spot with lots of walkable bars/restaurants. Was literally the fastest/simplest checkin I've ever had anywhere.

Dave provided a great place to stay in Bayfield on short notice! The room was clean and comfortable and within walking distance to everything in Bayfield. The price of the stay was great too.

We enjoyed our stay. Our unit was recently renovated to a kitchenette which was nice to have a full size refrigerator to keep our drinks cool and freezing our fish. We wish there would’ve been power at the dock for our boat and more parking for our boat trailer. Overall it was a great stay, beautiful lake and location.

thoroughly enjoyed our private getaway, had breakfast on the lovely deck daily with awesome views of the lake. The overall experience was awesome, we will be back and have suggested this to six friends who will book in the future. kudos to the two of you for taking on this. awesome motel and allowing us to enjoy it! We thoroughly enjoyed talking to Isaac on our way out as well, noting that his wife Molly is from our area!

A great alternative to a hotel in town and provided beautiful surroundings, peace and quiet. The entry is very modest but once you enter the room a beautiful view of the lake is seen on the far side. Amenities as described and fairly clean. We would definitely stay here again if in the Hayward area.

What a wonderful stay! It was a beautiful, snowy winter weekend in Bayfield that was magnified by the warm amenities provided at St. James Social. The restaurant downstairs is DELICIOUS and the staff are amazingly friendly. I’ll be recommending this stay to anyone and everyone heading up to Bayfield, WI!

Perfect stay while we were in town for the Chequamegon MTB festival. 25 min from cable and 15 minutes to downtown Hayward. Everything was just as listed and Patrick did a great job of communicating and keeping us informed. Clean accommodations. Beautiful scenery on the lake and an easy check-in process.

Amazing spot! The room was beautiful, the sauna was awesome, the bed and linens were so comfortable, and the downstairs bar + restaurant was delicious.

So peaceful and quiet. Patrick gave all the checkin information and clear directions to the location ahead of time so finding the place in the dark was easy. Will definitely stay here again.
