Absolutely loved Harvest Moon Cabin! How peaceful it was, just a comfy place to be. We saw lots of wildlife too! Bears, deer, it was so fun! The northern lights even came out for a while. I would love to come back someday! Thanks for a great stay.

We loved our stay at Kitchigami Lodge! There were nice touches like the bowl of goodies and cold waters in the fridge when we arrived. The home was immaculate and looked just like the photos, including the incredible view of the lake. It was so peaceful and quiet, which my family was especially looking for this year. We all loved spending time in the sunroom with its beautiful views, the kids enjoyed the large hot tub, and the private beach was amazing. But we were close enough to Duluth and some state parks to easily get out and do other things if we felt like it. We would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of space and a good location for ski in/ski out

A very good place to base exploration of the surrounding area. Has all the amenities that parents with young children need including a folding crib, high chair, playground, and a safe interior space for them to play. Very well-appointed interior, fully equipped kitchen, nice bathroom. We plan to stay here every time we need a place to stay around here.

This was our first Airbnb and we were truly amazed and felt right at home. It was perfect for us!

Was sooo accommodating for my special request. I only needed the space for myself and bridesmaids get ready for our wedding. Daniel was so gracious to allow myself and others in his space for the limited time that we needed! Traveled from Kansas City, Missouri for our big day, and it was perfect! Even more fun, after our wedding we ran into his property partner!

After 16 years of marriage and raising three very busy children, these four days away were very needed. This cozy cabin in the woods was everything we had hoped for!! The decor, ambiance, quiet! Absolutely loved our time away. We will be recommending this place to our friends and will book again if we come this way! Kayla is a remarkable host!!! Highly highly recommend!!

Cottage 5 was perfect for a cozy and quiet getaway. Very spacious and clean, also had pretty much everything you would need. Plus the ice cream gift, was a great treat! Thank you!!

Little Sisu was exactly what we expected! Peaceful, comfy, beautiful surroundings! Jesse was very responsive to any questions and concerns. The cabin had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back, hopefully in the fall once the sauna is finished!

Tia is terrific. we've stayed at this location the past four years now, and anytime we have a question or need something, Tia answers within minutes. The cottage is cozy and has everything you need.

The cabin was cozy and clean. It had kitchen tool essentials (silverware, plates/bowls, salt/pepper/tea, cleaning supplies). The bathroom was clean and a short, pretty walk from the cabin. Nice for a winter getaway in the woods but within a short drive to Washburn or other points on the South Shore.

Chelsea and Joel (and the owner, Mike) were great! We had a wonderful stay and appreciated the local recommendations the hosts offered. Mike was also incredibly helpful upon our arrival. He was happy to share exactly where everything was and what to do if we had any questions. The cabin and outhouse were very clean (and smell-free!), and we encountered no issues whatsoever. I would note, though, like others have, that this space is not necessarily “semi off grid.” The owner lives on the same property and another rented space is located there as well. We appreciated being close to help if the need arose, however. All in all, this cabin was exactly what we were looking for in a quiet space to stay during our hiking trip!

Love! We have shared some of the best life experiences here from our engagement to our baby reveal! This is like our second home and the owners are WONDERFUL! The lodge, food and drinks are all awesome. Great service and will plan to be back again soon!

Beautiful views and accessibility to the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the place and would definitely stay again. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

This cabin was an absolute gem! Beautiful, spotless, and perfectly situated—peaceful yet conveniently close to Hwy 61. We used it as a home base for exploring the breathtaking North Shore of Lake Superior, hiking and adventuring each day. The sauna was a fantastic way to unwind, easy to use, and a true highlight. The shower was luxurious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The hosts were exceptional communicators, making everything seamless from start to finish. The property itself felt wonderfully secluded while still providing a sense of security and comfort. The grounds were stunning, adding to the overall charm of the stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better retreat!

Great winter stay for the Birkie at Sharon's cabin. Overall it was a great experience. Cabin was better equipped and larger than the listing let on with plenty of kitchen appliances. Plus we were able to get pretty consistent cell data coverage (both AT&T and T-Mobile). Beautiful little secluded area that we would definitely come to again. Sharon was a great host and very responsive to messages.
