House vacation rentals in Battery Point

What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days R&R or an extended holiday. We were a group of seven who had been travelling around Tassie, playing golf. We had two nights here for a lovely rest, and what a fabulous place to do just that. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there, either relaxing by the fire, playing pool or relaxing in the spa and pool. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family reunion for a holiday or a few days catch up. I would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you Jason for sharing your beautiful home with us.

We had a great stay at Vicki’s property. We loved the hot spa after a day exploring the area and the fireplace to sit in front of and relax. A very comfortable home with local wallabies and some chickens on site. The early wake up by the rooster took a bit of getting used to but otherwise very quiet and peaceful.

Lovely large clean and tidy home a short drive from Hobart. We particularly loved the views!

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Chantelle was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. I had a lot of questions, both for myself and on behalf of the group. Chantelle was always quick to respond and happy to assist. Her communication was excellent, and she was flexible with our check-in times, which really helped accommodate our busy schedule. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was so well-equipped, down to all the essentials, which made staying in really enjoyable and convenient. I’d definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Tassie.☺️

The view was absolutely beautiful and the host was really responsive, which we really appreciated. The space itself wasn’t the most comfortable or practical, especially for the price, but we still enjoyed our stay overall.

Fantastic place to stay, close to Hobart and a walk to local shops. Loved the direct beach access and walking track to morning coffee place. Great value for money and of course the views......

We had a wonderful long weekend stay in Hobart! The house was warm and cosy, perfect for the cooler weather. The beds were super comfy with electric blankets, which made for a great night’s sleep. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen had all the accessories we needed to cook and enjoy our meals. The location was also fantastic – close to everything we wanted to see and do. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Hobart.

An absolutely beautiful home! My husband and I stayed for a week for our honeymoon, and it was the perfect getaway! The home is stunning, close to CBD and everything was spotless and clean. We couldn’t have stayed anywhere better. Thank you Aloïse!!

This has to be the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in with Mary's eclectic collections, homely decor, soft comfy furnishings and the added little thoughtful extras and if all that was not enough, the views to absolutely die for. As soon as I walked in the door after the week I had I definately felt more relaxed and was able to take my mind off things. Just felt at home. This will be on my return list for sure. Give it 10 stars!!!

Hi Rachel, Tasman House is absolutely superb! It was spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed, and the beds—with that crisp, fresh linen—were such a treat. The property is incredibly spacious, and all the thoughtful little extras made our stay even more enjoyable. We really appreciated the selection of coffee, teas, and hot chocolates, along with the milk in the fridge and the well-stocked pantry—such a generous touch. Beautiful home in a great location. Relaxing stay in wine country; walkable to Richmond and several surrounding vineyards.

Rob's place is beautiful inside and out. The views are spectacular. It's super quick and easy to walk to the beach, cafes and shops. The house is simply a joy to be in - light filled, comfy and wonderfully styled. You'll find everything you need here. Rob is a generous and accommodating host, communicating openly and responding promptly. We look forward to our next stay at Rob's place!

The house is gorgeous and a perfect, clean and comfortable base to explore Hobart from. Sylvia was a fabulous host and made everything clear and easy - including early check in. The beautiful bathtub was a bonus after a day walking Salamanca in the rain. The stairs to the second bedroom were great fun but might not be accessible for all. But I would high recommend this property and plan to be back ourselves!

Great place to stay with off-street parking and within easy walking distance of North Hobart restaurants and entertainment. The home is warm, quiet, comfortable and beautifully presented with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The outdoor spaces are also lovely places to sit and relax. We would definitely stay here again.

Love the lift!!!! Very nice place and stunning views

A simply stunning place to stay, just what we hoped for. Having the cottage plus the apartment meant that our group of 2 families could have shared as well as own private space. The apartment was sunny and overlooked the garden full of spring blossoms. It was quiet, beautifully appointed and so well located to explore the cafes and restaurants of historic Battery Point. We loved it. 10/10.

We stayed here with my extended family, and it was perfect. The location was fantastic, and within easy walking distance into the city, Salamanca, Battery Point and Sandy Bay etc. The house was beautiful and well set up with comfy beds etc. I would definitely recommend to stay here. Only thing to consider is the car parking. We had an enormous people mover, so found it very tricky to park in the narrow car parking spots, so parked out the front. This was OK, as there were no restrictions over the weekend.

My husband and I and our two adult children have just finished a 3 night stay at Marty’s beautiful property. Very easy to find for our Uber driver and first impressions from us all was - Wow! Marty was so thoughtful and responsive - he offered an early check in should we have needed it and all the “house info” was all we needed for a warm and comfortable stay. The beds and linens were so comfortable. We were in Hobart to meet with more of our family and the 9 of us enjoyed a wonderful reunion around Marty’s dining table. We were able to prep food using all the kitchen facilities - plenty of crockery and cutlery - utensils and staples - used oven and dishwasher! Just a few steps away is Pigeon Hole Cafe and Westside Laundry Cafe - both sensational! On one outing we brought home Barilla Bay Oysters (out near the airport) and some Tassie Sparkling - yum! Full sets of wine glasses provided. Loved this Air BnB and very happy to recommend it. Thank you Marty and Alex.
