Lovely quiet spot, central for walking into the centre of Plymouth, approx 40min. Great fish & chips just round the corner, easy off road parking. Comfortable beds, good open plan living area & kitchen/dining. Helpful hosts. Recommended but be aware of the stairs which are in the description - you are literally at the top of this beautiful listed building.

Another geat stay .Photos of the views are really good but the real think is something else great views from every window. Accurate description on the listing and fantastic replies from Suki on any questions. We will book again.

What a truly wonderful stay, and the photos REALLY do not do this beautiful place justice!! We had the most lovely welcome from Chris and Sally when we arrived, were given lots of tasty treats to keep us going until we were able to shop the next day, and loved every second of our stay with them. They really did think of everything we could possibly need, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location is excellent as we were able to park right outside the property. There is also a bus stop directly outside so we jumped on the bus to Exeter, which only took half an hour. The drive to Starcross is only about 10 minutes and we parked up and got the lovely foot-passenger ferry over to Exmouth (definitely worth the trip and very cheap.) We will DEFINITELY be returning and are already missing the sound of the ocean.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was very cozy, equipped with everything we needed. It was quiet and private, ensuring nothing disturbed us while we slept at night. There was a convenient parking place, which was really important for us as we were travelling by car. Tracey was incredibly helpful and always kept in touch. One of the best hosts I have ever met!

Great location and beautiful flat. We took our 1 year old with us and it was perfectly suited to him toddling around too. Very clean and modern interior. Would highly recommend!

Perfectly situated with stunning views. We didn’t use the car at all during our stay as the local buses run in all directions. A visit to the Steam Packet Inn is a must for a tasty meal & a drink. We were lucky that our stay coincided with the Dartmouth Music Festival & enjoyed live music on 2 nights in the Steam Packet. The area is a walker’s delight with a range is walks to suit all abilities. I cannot recommend this wonderful Airbnb highly enough & hope to return for another stay in the future. I didn’t want to leave!

the flat was very roomy, light and airy. clean and fresh when we got there. parking was very easy and convenient for the house. had some concerns about the steps up to the flat but it was no problem - less steps than I had thought. Emma was quick to respond to queries 11.00 am checkout is useful - many places want you out earlier. Would be happy to use again

We had the best weekend staying in Amanada’s house celebrating a birthday it was beautiful. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos & my 2 year old loved looking out to sea every morning seeing the birds. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ☺️ one bonus for families thinking of booking that I did not see prior to our stay is the stairgate at the top of the stairs to the kitchen it was perfect with 2 young children we could shut this off.

We had the most amazing week with our 4 boys at The Old Guard in May. We have been renting various properties in Hope Cove for many years. Wendy's property is now our absolute favourite!! Not only did we have fabulous weather but the location is just perfect for getting out on the kayaks etc The warm outdoor shower is brilliant for when you get back! The balcony is very large and a great space! The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunsets incredible. The kitchen had everything you need. They utility area with washer and dryer is very useful staying with a family. The property was really well designed & clean and comfortable to stay in. Wendy had said the parking would be tight, but we got our 2 vehicles in no problem just a bit of time to go back and forth and one is a long wheelbase Mercedes Vito! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again! Thank you Wendy for all your messages and prompt replies when we had any questions.

Loved this cosy house, in an absolutely spanking part of Salcombe. I've been coming here for best part of 35+ years and this location is second to none right in-between north and south sands (the brilliance of this cannot be underplayed). the ground floor is the perfect place for tweens to hang and the views from the garden are glorious even when the weather is bad! thank you too to Annie and her team for being perfect and responsive hosts - you were great! We'll be back ...

The property was as described, in great condition, very clean and full of useful stuff. Has amazing views from the top bedroom. The walk to town was not as bad as expected and parking wasn’t a problem for our 3 cars. Heidi was very attentive host, responding to our messages very quickly and even got a replacement remote control for the TV within 24 hours. Great stay

Salcombe is just beautiful. Most people know about the amazing beaches and fantastic estuary views ... but the countryside is spectacular too. This place really shows this side off.

Our stay on Raleigh Road was fantastic, the house was quirky and spacious. Matched the description and was perfect for us 4 adults and 3 children. With the addition of the high tide annex there could easily have been 2 more adults. Very clean and had a lot of essentials which places don’t normally stock. Location was good albeit a steep decline to the harbour, extremely convenient shop across the road. Would definitely visit again!

The house was very spacious , wonderful bedrooms and lovely bathrooms and great ensuites Very well appointed with everything you could need for a holiday Nice to have two lounges , a great bonus Our favourite part was the fabulous patio , very large with lots of lovely seating and incredible views

We had a fabulous stay. Great location within walking distance of Salcombe town centre and a wonderful, cosy house that accommodated our two families. We particularly loved the big, bright kitchen dining area to hang out in for lazy brunches. Brilliant place, would book again.

A very beautiful modern, spacious and comfortable apartment. It has everything you could need. It’s within easy walking distance to both city centre and the lovely Hoe and the Barbican area. Check in instructions were easy and nice having the underground garage parking space. The lift was an added bonus as was the balcony the full length of the apartment with sliding doors from both bedrooms and lounge. James was super helpful and very responsive. Had an absolutely fantastic stay and highly recommend this apartment and am hoping to return.

Great flat, light, airy, spacious, comfortable and very clean. Comfortable bed, great shower and a great kitchen, fully equipped with plenty of plates, glasses, saucepans etc. The flat is really well situated, 4 mins walk from the station and 5 from town where there are some very good restaurants, lots of independent shops and a lovely little market on Friday and Saturday. Don’t miss the wonderful Totnes cinema. We so enjoyed our stay and hope to come back.

We stayed at The ApARTment for 4 nights and loved our stay. We were a group of 4 adults and had plenty of space. The setting is beautiful, with great views from the living space of the surrounding hills, down into Dartmouth, and across to Kingswear. You could happily sit and stare at the view for hours! Simon and Theresa were brilliant hosts. Theresa was very communicative via messages and really welcoming when we arrived. Simon had some good recommendations for places to eat. Both were really friendly and relaxed when we bumped into them. All amenities are as listed and we had no problems self catering. The kitchen had everything we needed. The furnishings are comfortable and the whole place was immaculately clean. Finished with an artistic touch, including some of Simon's own work, the decoration is fantastic! It was walkable to Dartmouth for those that dont mind some hills! We wouldnt hesitate to book again, and I'd recommend The ApARTment to anyone.

A beautiful apartment just a short walk away from the centre of Torquay. Dean was very helpful. I would happily stay here again.

The perfect place for a trip to Brixham. Location was less than a 5 minute walk into the harbour, the cottage was spotlessly clean, had all the facilities needed. Communication with Rebecca was great and we even had a late check out! Cookies were left with some milk in the fridge! Lovely touch. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at The Loft. It was delightfully clean, extremely comfortable and very well equipped. The surroundings and grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Although Halwell House was not easy to find, Diana provided detailed directions so we did not go wrong and was always available to give help and advice. We are certainly hoping to make a return visit before too long.

Beautiful apartment with stunning views. brand new bathroom with walk in shower and lovely Neal's Yard products which smell amazing. Welcome pack of food goodies including milk, butter, croissants cheese, jam, marmalade and a bowl full of fresh fruit. Couldn't have asked more from our hosts Lynne and Neal. Gregor’s place was perfect for our stay in south Devon. Comfortable and everything we needed as a family. The boys loved the swing in the garden and the snakes and ladders. It was close to some beautiful beaches and the nearby newton ferrers and Noss mayo were pretty. Recommend the green deli cafe! And the ship inn.
