Lizzy’s Luxury Cottage

EricalRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Spent 2 nights at the cottage. Beautiful surroundings and felt very private. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. The view from it was perfect. We purchased an extra basket of logs for the 2nd night and my husband had no problems lighting it...as per helpful video! The bed was extra comfy too. Lots of walks nearby and easy to get to places. Would definitely return.

Peaceful cottage in Parwich village with hot tub

SophieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Caroline's place was lovely, a peaceful break in the countryside! A reasonable distance from some of the attractions of the Peak District, including the Tissington Trail and Thor's Cave. The village was quaint and we had a lovely meal in the local pub, The Sycamore (recommended by Caroline). The only downside was the typical British summer weather raining down on us - wish us better luck next time!

The cottage was very cozy. The kitchen had a good selection of cookware and other necessities. The welcome pack of milk, bread, cookies (homemade and delicious) and prosecco was very thoughtful. All the bedrooms were lovely, a good size very roomy with amazingly comfortable beds probably the best I have ever slept in in an Airbnb. We had a great stay!

Chatsworth Cottage, Little Longstone

JohnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Sam and Annie's cottage was a lovely location to spend 8 days as a family of three (including with a 9 month old baby). It included a large and very comfortable bed, a cot in a separate room for our baby, and everything needed in the kitchen to be able to make a meal. They were very helpful at making sure we had everything we needed for the baby (e.g. high-chair, baby bath, etc) and were very responsive to any questions that came up during our stay. The cottage is in a lovely spot, with walks right on its doorstep, and Monsal Head a short 5 minute walk away. The local pub is also excellent (ensure to make a reservation). We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Cosy Little Cottage in the Peak District

EmmaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Beautiful location with many walks and rides from the door. The location is great - right in the heart of many outdoor places to go. Enjoyed watching the ducks, sheep and cows going about their day. Glorious views from the back patio area truly part of the Derbyshire countryside. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could hope for, and is much bigger than expected. The pictures do not do it justice. Easy to find and despite being within a working farm was peaceful and a lovely place to spend a couple of days. The shower was excellent after a long wet walk. Thanks Allie for a great relaxing stay. I hope to return with my dogs in the future.

Wasp Nest Cottage, Peak District

MaryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Myself and a friend stayed in wasp nest cottage for a weekend of walking in the peaks. The cottage is a beautiful and stylist home away from home, cosy and very comfortable. Jack left us everything we needed, milk, coffee and even a lovely cake and treat for the dog, which was a lovely touch and very welcomed. Amazing walks in every direction, great for dogs and the peaks national park a short drive away. Communication from Jack was excellent. A very lovely stay indeed.

Millstream Cottage

Pamela is an excellent host. She has provided so many small things in the house which proves how great host she is. She shared extremely clear instructions before arrival, was flexible and responsive. She welcomed us personally with a welcome package which was very thoughtful. Her place is well equipped with small details which adds to the experience. for example, she has kept extremely clear guides in the house, toys for kids, cutlery, utensils, oil, salt, pepper, herbs, iron, locks for cycles etc. ie everything you need for a pleasant stay. She even allowed flexible checkout as the next guests were coming the following day only and not on the same day. The location is amazing, well in the bakewell central junction, close by to bus station, supermarkets, restaurants. there are small nice walks walkable from the property also. We have stayed at many b&bs however this surpassed all the expectations. A warm cozy place with a warm host. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Grade 2 listed cottage, Peak District nr Bakewell

SarahRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had such a great week in this wonderful cottage. Youlgreave is a lovely little village, the cottage is right opposite the village shop which was handy for picking up bits for dinner. There are some beautiful walks right from the door, and parking was generally available on the street outside / nearby. The cottage was clean and well-stocked with all essentials. The garden was lovely to sit in, it was a little cold to eat out while we were there but still great for morning cups of tea etc, watching the bees buzz in the flowerbeds. The bathroom was brilliant - fabulous freestanding bath and one of the best showers we’ve ever used. The only thing missing was a dining table but with just two of us we were perfectly happy sitting and eating at the breakfast bar. We had initially booked the week before but when circumstances changed Mandy very kindly arranged things so that we could move our booking. Communication was clear and friendly throughout. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!

We really enjoyed our long weekend in Blacksmith's Barn. It's in an amazing location in the centre of Hope, and blessed with a private parking space. We found it to be very clean, well-equipped and ideal for our needs. We were visiting primarily to walk and it's perfect for that - MamTor, Castleton, Win Hill etc are all within striking distance. We didn't go out in the car for the whole time we were there! We will definitely try to stay here for our next visit to the Peak District.
