Fantastic cottage in Bakewell just 5 minutes from the centre. Private parking. Very steep but beautiful garden with two seating areas - one by the back door and the other at the top with views of the town and surrounding hills. All recently redecorated and, unlike a lot of old cottages, it felt dry and warm. Excellent shower. Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout the cottage. Couldn’t be better - it’s our new favourite cottage in Bakewell.

We had a lovely stay at Snaptin, it’s a beautiful cottage in a great location. The sourdough and chocolate were a nice touch, and everything had been thought of. Helen was super responsive and really helpful - she messaged to say we could have a late checkout, which was appreciated :) Would recommend 100%!

Hi Hayley Another lovely relaxing stay at Wits End Cottage. Weather was fab, we sat out each day on the terrace or in the Secret Garden. Hired bikes at Hassop and cycled the Monsal Trail, relatively flat with the epic old railway tunnels to cycle through. Enjoyed the short walk to the Chatsworth grounds and longer walk up to the House. Also the peaceful walk along the river to Calver. Will be back at Wits End shortly. Such a great location and always a treat. Thanks for everything xxx

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay in Bakewell. John and Moira were wonderful, so very friendly and helpful. We felt so welcome. The cottage was perfect with the gas fire, only minutes away from the town centre on foot. There was plenty to do with Hadden Hall just a few minutes away. Can’t wait to come back!

What a wonderful week we had staying in the garden nook! Everything was perfect from start to finish and Lisa was great in telling us about the local restaurants and brilliant walks to take us to the nearest villages. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived and have had the most relaxing and revitalising stay. We even got to feed the baby calves and lambs on our second night which was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back next year! Thanks again for an amazing stay! ☺️
