We love this cottage in the mountains of Italy and have been here for the second time. And not the last time ;) The house is cozy, tidy, beautiful and has more than everything you could possibly need. The location is awesome and we can really chill out here and go on great hikes, even directly from the house. Alessandra is super nice and always available. He has created a very personal paradise. An absolute recommendation :)
An organized kitchen display features a ceramic pot with a landscape image resting on a shelf. Above, several delicate teacups are positioned on a contrasting blue background, contributing to a calm and cohesive design.

The enchanted attic

We got in late. The host met us, we even got help transferring our luggage. Everything was clean, the location is quiet in a beautiful village.
A view of the serene outdoor space reveals a small garden area with green grass and stone pathways. A tree and various plants are positioned near the border, while a gentle stream flows alongside the property, framed by lush greenery.

Single riverfront house a few minutes from the sea

Beautiful apartment, spacious and in a great location! Less than 1.5 hours from the gems of Tuscany — Pisa, Lucca, Florence and even the Cinque Terre — it's the perfect starting point for exploring the region. Cosimo was an exemplary host: available, attentive, and very accommodating for our arrival as well as for our departure. Small downside to note for families with young children: the interior staircase is not secure (no railing), so vigilance is required. We also had some issues with the electricity and humidity in the house, but nothing restrictive.

Monti&Mare "comfortable refuge in the Apuan Alps"

SakariRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Probably the best Airbnb experience our family has ever had! Hosts Ana & Michele were so nice and welcoming. They even offered us some delicious pasta and also chicken eggs from nearby. The house was even better than the photos. It's newly renovated, super nice and clean. Has all the necessary amenities. The views are amazing. Nearby there's a lot of hiking possibilities, waterfalls etc. Seravezza village nearby is charming.

It was a perfect vacation at Francesca’s house. For those who want to escape from a city noise, it is just a wonderful place. The house is very cozy, silent, Francesca and Luigi ate wonderful hosts. They were very responsive to all our requests. Highly recommended

We had a great time in Barga! The place is very centrally located in Barga with lots of great restaurants close by, which was great! Eleonora was always easily accessible and very helpful. The apartment is stylish and nicely decorated. I'd love to come back :)

La Serra Mountain View Pruno di Stazzema wine

A delightful traditional property in an area of outstanding beauty. Miriam was friendly and kind, and the property was clean and well stocked. A kettle would have been a bonus as, although mid May, the weather was cold and we needed lots of hot drinks to keep warm. Miriam very kindly arranged for a neighbour to come and show us how to work the central heating. We really enjoyed our time at La Serra and would highly recommend a stay here if you are a hiker, or just want to get away from it all!

Casa Susy

We enjoyed a brief stay here at the start of August. The house is full of Italian charm, it's traditional and a little rustic but it was really nice. There are tiles on the floor and some nice pieces of furniture. It was spacious enough for our family of four. The stairs are a little steep but okay for us, there was a stair gate at the top if needed but we didn't use it. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage for our clothes. It was really nice to have some oil, salt, sugar, coffee, jams and biscuits for us to use. It is annoying having to buy all the basics so that was a nice touch from the host. The place was clean and we had everything we needed although a fan might have been nice. The view of the stream out the back is lovely. There were a few mosquitoes but not many. It is remote, you do need a car to get around but that was fine for us. It's a nice location of you want to explore by car. Parking was closed by.
