Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Barwon Heads

A beautifully presented and comfortable home. Nic had thoughtfully started the fire which was perfect when arriving for a winter weekend away. Nic also offered us a late checkout which we really appreciated.

We felt right at home and at peace the minute we arrived. Despite miserable weather on our arrival, it didn’t dampen our experience in any way - it was a wonderful place to decompress and just enjoy a slower pace, and our young girls were ecstatic to play upstairs and in the yoga studio. Kate gave us the opportunity to access the house earlier on our arrival which we really appreciated the flexibility. The house was gorgeous and close to the shops and beach. The house had everything you need with lots of cutlery, plates and mugs/glasses to accommodate large groups. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings whilst being close to shops and the beach. Highly recommend this house as an option for large groups or families as there are many different lounge areas to relax or watch tv in addition to 4 bedrooms.

We had a great stay at the property, with Marta super responsive from the moment I booked the property to after check-out. The property was immaculate, with so many great hints and tips placed around the house to make sure we knew exactly what everything did, etc. The local restaurant suggestions were top notch too!

I booked the place for a holiday with my parents and kids. The place was so homely and kids friendly! There were many games and toys for the kids to play with. The kitchen had everything we needed. The ambiance was like a beautiful and welcoming family home that all of us very much enjoyed. Thank you Fran for the delightful stay!

Charleson was the perfect location for a family holiday. The home was clean, spacious, and beautifully renovated, equipped with everything you need to arrive and instantly relax. We only wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the fireplace, spend more time unwinding in the backyard, and play a few rounds of pool. The hosts were incredibly responsive and attentive throughout our stay. If we return to Torquay, we would absolutely choose Charleson again. Thank you to the entire team—your efforts were truly appreciated

We had a fantastic stay, the views are stunning anytime of the day. We loved the pool/spa and billiard table. The house is very comfortably furnished, has a well equipped kitchen and was spotlessly clean. Debbie is very quick to respond with any queries.

We had an amazing stay at Jason’s house! The place is beautifully set up with every facility you can think of — and even the ones you didn’t think you needed! Both adults and kids had a great time, with something for everyone. The 5 ensuite bedrooms made our group gathering super convenient and comfortable. Jason was also incredibly responsive — always quick to reply and easy to reach for any questions. We’re already looking forward to coming back next time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is perfectly positioned to enjoy everything that Sorrento has to offer. The main street shops, restaurants and trendy hotels are merely 2 minutes walk away, not to mention the beach and ferry terminal. I highly recommend this property. Checking in was a breeze. Fabulous place! We had an amazing time and it's probably the best-equipped Airbnb we've ever stayed at. The attention to detail is impressive, with everything thoughtfully provided, from the cozy bedding to the well-stocked kitchen. The host truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. The location was perfect too—close to town and beach but still peaceful and private. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be back

We had a great time at the Portarlington National Celtic festival over the June long weekend. To top this off our very comfortable accommodation was a highlight. The Hosts have put so much effort to make their place a home away from home and it shows with every thoughtful detail . Certainly would recommend to anyone wanting to stay and also explore the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula. Hopefully we can return for another luxury escape !! Rgds Margaret & Bob

Fleur’s place is stunning - thoughtfully and beautifully curated with so many special little touches…it was such an idyllic, peaceful, and luxe retreat. The bed is super-comfy, the amenities are luxurious, this is one of the loveliest spaces I have stayed in. Fleur was responsive, warm, and such a generous host. She was even kind enough to extend our check-out to late afternoon! Highly recommended. Thanks so much for such a beautiful weekend Fleur. Hope to stay again soon!

House was spectacular although the distance to the beach wasn’t as close as I assumed from the ad. However the house was amazing and very luxurious and comfortable! Loved it!!!

Helen was responsive, flexible and made things very easy for us from the onset as well as giving us great recommendations and the location is just moments away from the beautiful backbeach where you can observe an enviable sunset each day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Avila. The house is very spacious and comfortably accommodated our large group. It had everything we needed to have a relaxing short break. The location is literally a short walk of 5 minutes to the beach. Summer was very easy to deal with and the instructions regarding the premises were clearly outlined in the house manual.

The perfect holiday home. The house itself was beautiful, with spectacular furniture. The rooftop, the heated pool, and so much more, I could go on! Ria was an amazing host, providing excellent communication throughout the stay.

Looks like the pictures and the check in was smooth. The place was very comfortable for a large family. Allan is responsive with the messages and has been very polite. The house feels comfortable, cozy, large and clean. We enjoyed our stay there. Beds very comfortable & linen were clean.

Biarritz is a beautiful, stylish villa in a peaceful garden setting and Sylvie is an excellent host, always so friendly, responsive and helpful. We were three generations staying for eleven nights after Xmas and the five bedrooms, spacious, bright, open plan living, kitchen, dining areas suited us perfectly. The new spa and sauna were a well used added bonus. Sylvie has ensured every room is so well equipped, with all we needed plus many extras and thoughtful touches that we have not seen in other houses, and all is of a high quality.
