Beach house vacation rentals in Barwon Heads

This would have to be one of my favorite places , across from the beach with easy access sitting on the balcony watching the sun setting was amazing , beds a comfy and it was equipped with everything you could possibly imagine for your comfort for a home away from home , my dog Malle loved sitting in deck watching the world go by .. he was secure and safe in the front yard . Jennifer was an amazing host , very responsive , overall a wonderful location , close to the bustling Mornington shopping strip and a cafe just down the road . Highly recommend Jennifer’s lovely beachside home .

I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this property ! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel cozy and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the entire space felt peaceful and private. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. Clear instructions were provided for check-in/check-out, and they even left a lovely welcome note and a few local treats, which was such a kind gesture. The location was perfect — quiet and safe I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Paula was extremely welcoming with very clear information and instructions. We felt comfortable in her place the entire time. It’s perfectly positioned in a calm and quiet environment yet easy access to shops and restaurants.

We are really enjoyed to stay at David’s house . The place was spotless , with amazing kitchen , kitchenette and beautiful living room . Great communication, very quick to respond to all inquiries .

What an absolutely perfect stay we had. Tamara was an amazing host, helping us organise our elopment wedding from Scotland. The house was huge and well kept. we paid to get the pool heated and it was like a warm bath - we spent ages in there and the kids loved it. If we visit again we would definitely stay there again.

Lovely little gem, easy to get the bus into town to have a few wines! John was the loveliest host and made us feel really comfortable, showed us his impressive wine-making, gave some great local advice and made sure we got on the right bus to town for dinner.

Very clean and spacious place in the perfect location, right near the water and Bellarine coastal walking track. The sunrises and sunets here are magnificent and can be seen unobstructed right from the living area! The house has everything you need and a spacious front and back yard for the kids and dog to run around and play - perfect for a family getaway. Amy made us feel right at home with timely communication. Will definitely be back here and highly recommend this place for a peaceful weekend with the family.

We spent a long weekend at Jennie’s house and would highly recommend. It rained the entire weekend so we weren’t able to make use of the top north facing deck or the lower pool deck but we lit the fire, settled in and had such a relaxing time. There is a really good coffee machine which meant we didn’t even have to venture out for coffee! We loved it on a wet winter weekend so I can only imagine how great it would be on a warm sunny weekend.

It was a wonderful place to stay. We had kids and dogs and Kerry was very responsive and flexible to accomodate us all. The views and space is relaxing, clean, spacious and perfect for a family winter escape. Would happily visit again

Beautiful home, super clean, spacious and comfortable. Stayed in winter so did not get to use the pool but pool and back yard were lovely and beautifully maintained. Lots of room for a long weekend with large family group. Easy and prompt communication with hosts. Great place - would definitely stay there again.

I had the most wonderful experience staying at Meagan's home! The house itself is absolutely stunning .The backyard is a true highlight, with a fantastic pool that made our days extra special. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind, with plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. Meagan was a gracious host, making sure everything was perfect for our stay. We couldn’t be happier with our time at this home. It was beautifully clean, well appointed and had everything you need. The home was so convenient to the shops, a short stroll away. We stayed in April and the surrounds were very quiet and peaceful.

We were extremely grateful for Kelly for squeezing us in when our accomodation fell through elsewhere. The house was impeccably clean and had everything we needed for our family stay. The pool was a great temperature and was used daily. The couch and beds were all extra comfy. We really enjoyed our stay. We only have one minor negative in relation to its location. The homes back fence is on the main road and also shared the fence line with a petrol station. Therefore you do hear the traffic as well as the trucks sitting idle waiting. It’s more noticeable when sitting in the back entertaining area.

Frank was a great host & left simple checkin instructions. The house was as described & was excellent for a large group (16), with good indoor & outdoor entertainment areas. Slightly inconvenient having to provide your own linen given we were a large group - but this was outlined in the listing & Frank's reminder message. Would definitely stay again.

If you’re looking for a house to relax and unwind, this could be the one for you! The house was warm and homily, and delivered some amazing sunrises / sunset views, all whilst relaxing in the spacious upstairs lounge. The house was clean throughout, and large enough to accommodate our group of friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Peggy is a great host, super responsive and even provided some complimentary wine to welcome us. Cheers to that!

Had a wonderful family stay for the weekend of our son's wedding. Plenty of space, great amenities, super comfortable. Excellent communication with our host Amy.

The house was clean, comfortable and welcoming. It was filled with natural light and sunshine. The weather was cold so we loved sitting by the fire. We loved that we could bring our little dogs - it was safe and secure for them. All round a lovely place to stay. Wish we had a bit longer there.

Bluff House was amazing! The photos don't do it justice, it felt much larger in real life and felt very spacious even for our large group. The house was incredibly well equipped with everything you could need. The location is excellent, only a short walk to the shops and pub. Melissa was quick to respond to questions and provided clear instructions for everything. We'll be coming back!

Our large family thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay. Despite three days of rain, the home is perfect to share quality family time together as well as having fabulous access to the nearby village and beach - literally one street away. Kate was the perfect host and communicated very clearly and in a friendly manner right from the point of booking. We enjoyed the fire, the separate living zones and the expansive kitchen/living area. We had a wonderful stay at Ria’s place. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable and great for our extended family. Kids (big and small!) loved the games room. Deck outside was lovely in the evening sun for a wine. Highly recommend!

I was blown away by how beautiful the place was, and am so grateful to have spent the weekend there. Cute little cafes on the strip, gorgeous beaches and an incredibly well equipped home for all your relaxing to be done. Host was incredible - obviously cares very much about the place and the guests. I can’t wait to book again!
