Monthly Rentals in Bärwalder See

The apartment is small but not too small. There were three of us with two dogs and we rarely got in each other's way. Downstairs there is a small wardrobe, from which you can go up a staircase to the rest of the apartment. Great walks 5 minutes on foot, many lakes, quiet and idyllic. Communication with the host was great! The 6 huskies are the cherry on top 😍

Wonderfully suited for a little time out in nature. Many beautiful hiking trails in the area. Romantic castle right next door with a great castle garden.

We were there with our dog, highly recommended. Beautiful surroundings, clean place and very nice sauna & hot tub. All the employees we met were extremely friendly. Particularly noteworthy is the delicious restaurant "Arche," a bit more expensive but really worth the money. Fresh ingredients, quick preparation. The only thing you could improve is the mattresses. There are two single mattresses, which unfortunately always slide apart. But that's whining at a high level and by no means a criticism. We liked it very much and would be happy to come back.

We spent two very relaxing nights on Sören's houseboat in the Klitten Marina on Lake Bärwalder. The accommodation is one of the floating houses and was well maintained, equipped with high-quality furnishings and tastefully decorated. We particularly liked the tranquility and the direct view of the lake. If it hadn't been a bit too cold, we would have taken the opportunity to jump directly from the houseboat into the water. The location in Upper Lusatia is ideal for walks, bike rides or simply relaxing on the boat's terrace. Communication with the host was friendly and reliable. Overall, a completely successful getaway. We'll be back.
