Fabulous Barn in Great Wolford, Moreton in Marsh

Our Barn is for your use only and is laid out over two floors. You are welcome to walk around our large garden, which includes a view over a small lake with rowing boat and pontoon, a vegetable garden and hidden seating areas dotted throughout. A generous welcome hamper is our gift to you to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There are no extra charges to the nightly rate. The Barn is a unique, romantic and private Cotswolds hideaway set in the grounds of an 1840's home on the edge of the village in a peaceful setting making it the perfect base to explore this outstanding area. You have private use of the upstairs suite and downstairs luxury bathroom and kitchenette. Underfloor heating throughout and reversible air-conditioning upstairs are there to make your stay as cosy or cool and comfortable as possible. Enjoy the luxury of a multi-purpose open plan space filled with light and framing spectacular triple aspect views across the grounds and countryside.  The main feature of the modern oak barn is its large 'A' frame floor to ceiling windows at either end of the upper level. These give outstanding views to the surrounding countryside and garden - including a small lake with bountiful wildlife; ducks, moorhens, herons, fish, buzzards, finches, woodpeckers to name but a few! The Barn also benefits from a private outside dining space to complete the immersion in nature.  Upon entering the front door there is a good size stone floored entrance hall with small "L" shaped kitchenette. From there you enter in to the fully fitted bathroom. There is underfloor heating throughout and a brand new air-conditioning unit for when our summers are warm. There is also an ethanol fire for a living flame experience. The Kitchenette is fully equipped for your stay with a Nespresso coffee machine, 2 ring electric hob, fridge with small freezer box, kettle and slimline dishwasher. *AIR FRYER* new 2025! There are kitchen essentials provided (oils, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee pods and tea bags) And the hamper includes more items to prepare breakfast and light meals if desired (milk, bread, butter, cheese, yogurt, crisps, biscuits and sometimes chocolate and sweets!).  The large Bathroom includes a walk in rain shower with hand held shower attachment, low-level WC and a large roll top freestanding bath. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel as well as body and hand towels are all provided. There is always plenty of toilet rolls, tissues and cotton wool. A carpeted flight of stairs leads you up to the light and airy open plan oak floored double aspect living area. There is a modern room divider providing a private and comfortable sleeping area with short hanging space within. The bedroom is fitted with plantation shutters that gives fabulous views to the fields and beyond from your bed! There is free unlimited fast Wi-Fi throughout the property and a large curved TV upstairs. There is also a Bose docking station for iPhones. Chargers and UK/US plug adaptors are also available. The property is entered off the lane through oak gates onto a large driveway for easy parking in front of The Barn. The nearest town, Moreton-in-Marsh (3 miles) is a wonderful Cotswolds town full of caf s, pubs and shops. There is also a famous weekly Tuesday market. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.
