Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Barlavento Algarvio

Excellent location. Steps from beach. Loved watching surfers. Bruno made us feel right at home. Would stay again.

We spent 5 nights in Mariana's cottage and felt very comfortable there. A small oasis of calm. We were able to make good use of the outdoor lighting, especially the pool. There were enough different areas. The private terrace on the first floor was lovely and private. We only used the kitchen for breakfast, as there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We'd come back.

Ana and Jorge are very lovely hosts! We stayed at Casa Marafada the second time with a little Child and it was a great experience we can fully recommend! Thank you for everything and see you next time :)

We had a wonderful stay in Alvor! Francisca is a great host – warm, helpful and always available. She made sure that we felt completely comfortable and were provided with all the necessary information. The house is very cozy, lovingly decorated and well equipped – we didn't miss anything. We especially liked the toys provided, beach utensils such as umbrellas, chairs and digging things – perfect for our holiday with a child. The beaches in Alvor are beautiful, ideal for swimming, playing and relaxing. There are great excursion options in the area – our daughter loved the Dino Minigolf! The resort itself offers everything you need: restaurants, shopping and a pleasant, family atmosphere. We really enjoyed our time here and would be happy to come back!

Jose’s place is welcoming, comfortable and very accommodating with thoughtfulness in the details. A great location in the charming town of Monchique. I would love to return one day.

The view itself is worth staying at this place. We loved listening to the waves as we fell asleep and loved waking up to an incredible view. Even while showering you can look out at the ocean. It was clean and has the bare minimum necessities. I think this spot on the interior has potential to be much cuter and a little better stocked, but we still loved our stay. We spent our afternoons on the deck tanning and loved how all restaurants, bars, and beach were all walking distance. This town is adorable!

Me and 2 friends had amazing 10 days at Arrifana Beach. The house is very nice and offers everything you need. Its quite, has a nice kitchen, an awesome terrace and you only need 1 min to the beach 👍🏼 Also Hugo is awesome. He is proactive, friendly and you notice that he really is interested in you having a good stay 🙌 All in all we highly recommend this house :)

We had a wonderful vacation in Carvoeiro and the apartment. The location was just right for us and the apartment fulfilled all our wishes. We'll be back for sure. Great host, super quick to respond and is very kind.

Jonathan was a great host. Super responsive and communicative. The location is close enough to all the bars and restaurants to walk in minutes but far enough to have some quiet. The outdoor terrace was great and the whole place was clean and comfortable. We made a mistake and locked the keys in the bedroom on accident and as to get them retrieved so keep them with you at all times in case the wind blows the door closed. We’d definitely stay again!

Carla was very communicative and kind throughout our stay. The location of her apartment was perfect for our family, with the pool and beach basically right outside of our door and a short walk to many restaurants and sights in Lagos.

We stayed at Peggy’s condo for 3 overnights. She was very responsive and clear with instructions about finding the condo and how to gain access. The condo was very well equipped and the upstairs rooftop views were spectacular. There are walkable restaurants for all Meals. You can walk to the walking section of Lagos. We drove as we had a rental car and are seniors. There is a local beach nearby- driveable. We used Peggy’s place as our base and went out and explored the beautiful Algarve every day. I highly recommend as the condo is exactly as described and Peggy and Rupert are fantastic hosts. The condo is also very clean and well maintained.

Fabulous place for a family. Great experience from start to end. Clear instructions. Super clean, spacious and bright. The location is great - a 2.minute walk to our excursion (kayaking), and a 5-minute walk to the boardwalk that leads to the city center! Beaches are about a 5-minute drive!

Cannot say enough about this place-would recommend every time. Walkable to fantastic restaurants and shopping, view is unbeatable. The pool was an added bonus after a day of sightseeing! Easy to access hiking, ocean activities and shops to stock up on provisions. Maria and Robert were very helpful and responsive hosts. Stop looking and book!!

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Wow!! What an amazing place! One of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in! The photos don’t do it justice! So much nicer!! Super clean, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, fantastic rooftop terrace, and gorgeous beach views! The location is fantastic, literally a two minute walk to the beautiful Meia Praia beach. Carolina is so friendly and was super attentive during our stay! Highly recommend and will definitely be back soon!!

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! A great location to start expiring the area. The apartment is not located in the most touristy area but in the quieter part of the town. Very easy to walk down to the beautiful beach, restaurants or explore the area for a walk. Nat provided recommendations for the direct area but also for the surrounding area. The flat itself is perfect and has everything you can imagine. Nat went so far even bringing us a new citrus press when we talked about it at our arrival. Thanks again for this great service. So the only negative I can say is that you will have to leave at one point! Thanks for having us and definitely a recommendation.
