Cabin vacation rentals in Balsam Lake

The house has stunning views and was absolutely perfect for our annual fishing trip. The lake access was a bonus. There was plenty of space for everyone, the beds were comfortable and seating was ample. I would absolutely utilize this home again.

Cabin was exactly as descibed. Plenty of space for 6 adults to relax for a weekend, cook, and socialize. We went in winter/early sping so not much activity in the lake but the deck is a great spot to take in the view. Beds were very comfortable. Would stay again.

Loved your cabin!! so peaceful! loved seeing the eagles all day, catching small mouth bass, and lots of deer! your place is perfect for families with small kiddos, lots of toys, movies and games. he thought of it all! definitely will stay there again if we're in the area. thank you again for opening up your home.

This quaint little cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway. The lakeview was gorgeous and it was lovely to sit outside and listen to/see all of the different birds. While most of our time was spent away from the cottage, it was the perfect place to come home to at the end of the night with the quietness of the area and the comfortable bed. Overall, a great getaway where we could relax and enjoy the beauty.

Nice little lake place close to Lindstrom and Taylors Falls/St. Croix Falls. 2 decent size bedrooms with comfy linens. Super cool to have the Nordic House within walking distance. Smart TV is there so you can watch shows. Good basic kitchen. Fire pit was awesome but would be nice if there was a fire poker available to mange things. Some basic grill tools and maybe an extra propane would be have been nice touches. We had a great 3 nights and would be back for sure. I only threw out those suggestions as ways to amplify an already great spot. Cheers!

Carol’s place was perfect for our weekend stay while in Siren for a hockey tournament. Incredibly clean, private, peaceful, and perfectly laid out. She was a great host and made sure all our q’s were answered throughout our stay. Highly recommend anyone stay @ Carol’s cabin!

This place was AMAZING! We were in town for a family gathering and this location was perfect - close to the highway, easy to find, Walmart just down the road! The view from the gigantic deck is gorgeous - lots of birdwatching. The cabin was perfect - beds are comfy, kitchen is spacious, everything was clean. We loved the shuffleboard. We will definitely be booking this cabin again in the future!!

This place was such a good weekend get away! This cabin is super private which we loved. So much wild life! and they had lots of fun activities to offer! Lovely space!

Absolutely exceptional cabin in rural Wisconsin! The space was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel cozy and luxurious. We had a wonderful time relaxing in the hot tub and watching the beavers by the water—such a peaceful and unique experience. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for our daughter's college graduation weekend. It was great for what we needed for the weekend and close to the campus. The neighbors of our location were super friendly. We would stay here again!

A very nice place to stay for a weekend in Stillwater. The log cabin house is homey with wonderful views of Bass Lake. Robert meet us when we got there and went through the house and answered all of our questions. Would definitely stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The property and views were gorgeous and it was such a pleasure to sip coffee on the deck in the morning and listen to the birds. We absolutely loved the iPod that was available to listen to, the games that were provided and general amenities that made our stay enjoyable. A much needed getaway!

We’ve rented Danielle’s lake house for 3 years in a row. The house is beautiful and has plenty of room for all our family and friends. The property is private with no close neighbors so the dogs can run free and we don’t have to worry about them going too far. You get to catch the most beautiful sunsets. This is our favorite lake house to rent for a peaceful long weekend filled with lots of friends and family.

Our family had a wonderful time! The cabin was clean, comfortable, had all amenities listed, and a perfect for 6 adults. The surroundings were gorgeous and peaceful, and we enjoyed watching several eagles fly around the lake. We definately look forward to staying here again! Thad and Cris

We are frequent visitors to this relaxing, natural woodland cabin because it has everything we love without having to leave the property. Loons, beaver kits at play, trumpeter swans, wildflowers and lots of trails to wander. The cabin has been updated with a very comfortable sofa and new lighting making for a great place to stretch out with a book. We will undoubtably return.

Naomi saved our Mothers Day disaster from another host. Not only was Naomi a superb host, her cabin was simply amazing. A place to relax and be carefree. Kids to run and play with the dogs, with no care in the world. A loft perfect for them to find sleep. A kitchen perfect for endless home cooked meals. This cabin was so perfect to take the kids mom and grandma to disappear from reality and be one with nature, family, and self. With non stop, amazing selection of vinyl records on rotation and though available, a TV and electronics were far from necessary. The peacefulness after the sun set and the calm of the rising sun. Naomi always there when we had a question. The forest park with a beach and fire tower just a few miles away along with town being not too close but not too far. This cabin was what we needed and was our much needed paradise. This will become a new annual spot. Beautiful cabin with a beautiful history.

In need of a fun and flexible place to stay near some old college friend I returned to Airbnb to find this wonderful cabin! Worked out great, easy arrival, woke to great views of the river, coffee by the water…. Great way to enjoy my visit.

A very cozy and private retreat. It was a great place to get away and unplug for a weekend.

We had a fabulous time with our family. Accommodations fit very well for our 3 small families with 2 dogs. We had great weather so enjoyed being outside the whole time! Loved the kayaks!
