A person is seen riding a brown horse along a sandy beach, with gentle waves of the sea in the background. Lush green cliffs rise on one side, under a clear blue sky, creating a scenic coastal environment.

River Cottage

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Couldn’t recommend staying here enough!! Kathleen was an amazing host, so kind and helpful and at the ready for anything you could need during your stay. The little cottage was so clean and just perfectly located. Multiple stunning beaches with 10 mins drive each direction. 10 mins from the national park. It was 2 weeks of bliss and Kathleen’s kindness was an amazing bonus. Would stay again in a heartbeat!!

Duffy Lodge Winners of pet awards2024 In Ireland

EdelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a fabulous weekend at Duffys Lodge. Deirdre is such a lovely host, welcoming and helpful. The house is spotlessly clean and cosy, set in a beautiful location. The children loved the big play area outside. Deirdre had the essentials in the fridge on arrival., bread milk and butter. Not to mention the delicious homemade scones, jam and cream she made us for breakfast. There's nothing she hasn't thought of. Overall, the place is amazing and we can't wait to go back!

Lovely house. Ideally suited to explore the area. Exactly as described and pristinely clean. Beds are comfortable. Host was excellent and gave us lots of tips for the area. Thanks

Great host and great accommodation. The property was spotless and Eamon went the extra mile for anything we needed.
A wooden picnic table is positioned on a concrete patio, offering views of Muckish Mountain in bright daylight. The surrounding area is gravelled, with a wooden fence delineating the space. The clear blue sky enhances the inviting outdoor atmosphere.

The Muckish Hideaway No.1

HilaryRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Martina's hideaway was so quiet.....if you listened carefully you could hear sheep in the distance and birdsong but other than that it was still and calming. Perfect hideaway for those who want some time in the middle of nature. We loved it. Small and compact but had everything we needed apart from WiFi which didn't work.

A window with a decorative floral shade offers a view of the outdoor space. A charming figurine of a rabbit stands on the windowsill, framed by the bright daylight filtering through the glass. The surrounding landscape features a gravel area and a distant fence.

Perfect cottage, clean and so cosy! Amazing setting, would love to stay again.
A sandy beach stretches into the distance, bordered by gentle dunes. The sky is filled with fluffy, white clouds, and sunlight casts a warm glow on the landscape. Footprints mark the smooth surface of the sand, leading towards the horizon where the sea meets the sky.

The Old Bank House

MichaelRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Rented both the upper and lower apartments. The upper has a really spacious kitchen and living areas. Much smaller in lower. Both have bedrooms on the street side so if youre a light sleeper bring earplugs if youre renting in season. Location could not be better for us. In the heart of all Dunfanaghy has to offer for pubs, shops, and restaurants. No trouble finding parking on the street. Comforting to have the surf shop staff available had a problem arisen (which it didnt). Both the bunk room above and twin room below would do well for children but would be definitely cramped for 2 full size men.
