The Garden Nook is a super Airbnb, one of the best ones I have stayed in. Dee has the space so well with everything you need for the stay. The nook itself is lovely, Super spacious and clean. Dunfanaghy the town is such a nice area with super pubs and restaurants and the views are superb. Thank you so much Dee we really enjoyed our stay. 10/10 recommend and I’m sure we will be up again to stay :)

We had an amazing time at James and Marie’s place. There were 12 of us celebrating my mum’s 80th birthday - three generations and an elderly dog - and it was the perfect place for everyone! The house was very well equipped and the appliances were modern. It was a real home from home. The house is a lot more spacious than it appears on the listing and it was VERY clean, with comfortable beds and loads of towels and tea towels etc. There are bowls etc for dogs which makes it a welcoming place for a family with a dog, and there was even stuff for the beach like a picnic hamper, cool box and beach towels. There’s a utility room too which isn’t obvious in the listing and was really handy with so many of us staying. The house is down a quiet lane and you can see the sea from one of the bedroom windows. The surrounding area is stunning - beautiful beaches and incredible mountain views - and the live music in Dunfanaghy on our final night ended a perfect week. Thank you, we’ll be back!

This was an absolute gem of a place. The mountain scenery is breathtaking. Brian was a superb host who was friendly, helpful and very responsive. He was very helpful with tips on places to go nearby. The house was extremely comfortable, homely and very clean. Brian had thought of everything including small details such as providing charging cables for phones by each bed. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had all the equipment you need plus the Mountain View of course! There was even a speaker you could connect to for music which was great. Even if the weather isn’t good you can still enjoy the ever changing views of the mountains, the mist coming down and the sunsets. If you want peace and quiet this is the perfect place to stay. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Rhonda's home is perfect in every way. Everything is as described. Rhonda is the best host, with impeccable communication and information. It was easy to find and close enough to several small towns to get a great feel of being in Ireland, while also being accesible to the natural wonders we came to County Donegal to enjoy. I loved our neighbors (of the animal persuasion) but can tell you, as an extremely light sleeper who is very sensitve to any noise, once you walk in and close the doors, you are in a soundproof home. I was worried I'd hear the donkeys braying at night, but not at all. We slept like babes in the very comfortable beds. The nearby beach walk recommended by Rhonda was lovely and one of our favorite escursions from the cottage, as was Friday night at Patsy Dan's. We had a wee trouble with the door that was 100% user error but it did afford us the opportunity to meet the caretaker, Robert, who was a real gem. Do not hesitate to rent this wonderful property.
