Aus den Fenstern der umgebauten Kirche schaut man direkt aufs Meer und erlebt herrliche Sonnenuntergänge am Abend. Die Unterkunft liegt perfekt, um mal richtig rauszukommen. Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet, uns hat nichts gefehlt. Die Küche ist überdurchschnittlich gut ausgestattet - perfekt für Leute, die gern kochen. In dem Dörfchen wohnen kaum noch Leute, aber die Menschen sind alle sehr zuvorkommend. Auch unsere Gastgeberin war total nett und sie hat uns auf Nachfrage gern mehr zu dieser besonderen Unterkunft erzählt. Gisela hat sehr schnell auf Nachfragen reagiert und stand uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Danke! ☺️

This is a fantastic place to stay for a short break, house is lovely, clean and most important a comfy bed, parking in the drive and the view is incredible. Walked along the coast to thinkers hill and the former lime kilns. Meal at the Anchor hotel, and ice cream at the wee cafe. Will definately visit again, thanks Loren

Das Haus war wunderschön, schönes Ambiente, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und man merkte das viel Liebe im Detail steckt. Kate hat auf Fragen sofort geantwortet und war sehr nett. Die Lage war auch sehr gut, in der Nähe ein kleiner Supermarkt, Cafés und Geschäfte ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und alles in allem war es bezaubernd!!! Wir können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen!!

Amanda es una propietaria excepcional! Siempre pendiente de todo por si necesitas cualquier cosa. Te hace sentir en casa y te facilita tanto la entrada como la salida. La casa es maravillosa y tenía todo lo que decía en la descripción y las fotos! Un gusto!!

Rock Cottage was a great ‘study camp’ for my daughter in the run-up to her exams. The house was immaculate and very much a home from home. The beds were very comfortable. The highlight, though, is outdoors - the wild garden is enchanting and full of bird life - we loved sitting in the sun room watching the swallows outside, followed by the bats at dusk. It’s in a very peaceful location but only a short drive to Kenmore or Aberfeldy for shops and restaurants. We’d love to be back!

Clover Cottage was absolutely magical. The house is private, nestled in gorgeous Scottish countryside, perfect for long walks with the dogs and really, truly escaping. The house was incredibly cozy, and we loved the hot tub. The nearest shops are a bit of a drive, but we just stocked up and nestled in. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for some peace and quiet!

Zoek je een plekje waar je helemaal tot rust komt, kan genieten van prachtige natuur, in een comfortabele cottage? Dan is dit je kans! We hebben genoten van een mooi gerenoveerd huisje, met alle comforts. Fijn bed, prima badkamer en een mooie keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt. De houtkachel maakt het snel behaaglijk. Er is zelfs een cv indien nodig. De cottage ligt beschut. Herten passeren door het bos. Een bonte specht had een nest in de boom en we hebben otters gezien in t meer.

Caravan was in a great spot with a golf green in front of us, dog loved watching the golfers all day, would book again, the site is perfect for the beach and various walks with the dog.

We voelde ons onmiddellijk thuis in de Eastwood lodge. Het was schoon in het huis en alle basisbenodigdheden waren aanwezig. Vanuit de lodge hebben we diverse uitstapjes gemaakt en op een regenachtige dag hebben we gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad in het hotel in Blairgowrie. Het is een heerlijk rustige plek midden in de natuur en naast een golfbaan, waar je geen last van ondervindt. Ashley reageerde ontzettend snel op onze berichten. Ik kan deze plek van harte aanbevelen.

A fabulous lodge on a great site. So comfortable with everything you could want. Beautiful bedding and towels. Great showers. Lovely 5 ring cooker and plenty pits and pans. Tanya was great leading up to the visit making sure we had all the info we needed. Very responsive when we had one or two questions. The only minor issue we had is that there is no terrestial tv due to location. We had to use apps on our phone. Highly recommended.

I really love this cosy, private and beautiful cottage. I have stayed here a few times now for work and pleasure and it’s an ideal spot for both. I get such good nights’ sleep and the bird song is delightful. Everywhere is so green! The cottage itself has everything you need in it and it’s warm and cosy too. It’s a unique setting with a very special extra, where you can swim in their private pool if you wish. Thank you again for being really friendly and accommodating hosts. I’ll be back ! Or rather we will be- Matilda and Brown dog 😊🐾

We had a lovely stay. The nature surrounding the property was beautiful and peaceful. The house itself was cozy and well equipped. I would highly recommend this place to anyone thats looking for a relaxing nature getaway.

Fiona couldn’t have been kinder. From the moment we booked she was super helpful and very responsive. She helped with some planning for our trip and went to great lengths to ensure we were happy even doing a shop for us ahead of our stay as we arrived late and had to get to a wedding the following day. Her and Colin are so friendly and made us feel right at home. The place is comfortable and clean with all the bits you could need in the kitchen and bathroom. Perfect location in Braemar, a 5 minute walk from the famous Fife Arms. I would highly recommend Fiona’s place! Thank you again for being so kind and lovely!

Second time staying at Hilary's cottage, had 12 days this time as a week just wasnt enough for us before. Hilary was friendly and extremely helpful as they have been previously. Great knowledge of the area, house and gardens gorgeous as ever. Coming from living near a city its such a relaxed and enjoyable pace of life. Definitely recommend to anyone contemplating booking. Hope to visit again soon.

This was the perfect, unique, location to home base from for visiting Inverness, the Lochness Experience, and Urquhart castle, as well as our highland cow lunch! The host was extremely generous in leaving a small presentation of locally sourced treats to munch on during our stay. We even saw a deer bounding on the property. Wish we had more time here.

The entire space felt very private and peaceful, which made it the perfect escape. Everything was spotlessly clean, and you could really see the attention to detail in every corner – from the decor to the thoughtful little touches that made the stay extra special. Communication with the host was excellent – quick, friendly. This place is 100% worth recommending. I would absolutely love to return in the future, and I highly encourage anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful getaway to book this place. You won’t regret it!

Insgesamt sehr gute Unterkunft mit vielen Attraktionen in der weiteren Umgebung. Insbesondere der Ausblick auf das Meer war toll!

Peter is een ontzettend vriendelijke en fijne host. Hij reageert snel en heeft goede tips voor de omgeving. In het huisje voel je je direct thuis. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig en er is zelfs een wasmachine. De omheinde tuin is een paradijs voor een hond en je kan mooi wandelen in de omgeving. Echt een hele fijne plek om tot rust te komen. Peter heeft zelf ook een hele lieve hond die zachtaardig was voor onze pup wat echt geholpen heeft met de socialisatie. Als we nog eens naar Schotland gaan komen we hier zeker terug.

A warm and cosy cottage tucked away down a quiet street in Ballater. It felt very homely and was very well equipped - the dressing gowns were a nice touch! The kitchen had everything you would need for cooking. In an excellent location too, especially for anyone wanting to visit the Balmoral Estate or hike up Lochnagar.
