There is a microwave, electric hob, toaster and kettle in the kitchen area. Dining table and chairs. Wall mounted TV and WiFi. There are several quiet beaches with wonderful coastlines to explore within walking distance. There is also the stunning St Medan Golf Course that welcomes visitors all year round.

The Gardeners Cottage @ Corvisel - cosy & quirky!

The Gardeners Cottage is set within the walled gardens of Corvisel House, built by Rear Admiral John McKerlie in 1829. We have restored the cottage in a vintage, quirky style with Donegal & Harris tweed soft furnishings & floral accents to reflect the glorious garden outside! It's located at the edge of Newton Stewart so very handy for evening strolls to the eateries in town. You can take walks in our small forest from the courtyard & hang out in the walled garden - green fingers are welcomed!!

2 Calgow Cottage is a fully refurbished semi-detached cottage in the heart of Galloway, within walking distance of Newton Stewart, described as the 'Gateway to the Galloway Hills'. Our large garden backs on to the mature woodlands of Kirroughtree Forest, famous for its recreational offering including bike shop and cafe, walking trails, and home to one of the 'seven stanes' mountain biking sites. Closeby are miles of coastline, hills, and spectacular scenery, ideal for that perfect getaway.

The Bothy is a beautifully presented & spacious, one bed detached house. Set in 4 acres of woodland on the banks of the River Doon & forming part of Doonbank Cottage's woodland garden, it is a very peaceful and quiet location. One (medium sized) dog allowed.

The Old Toll House Petite and perfectly formed

Petite but perfectly formed The Old Toll house is a perfect base to explore Dumfries and Galloway. The Old Toll house was built in 1813 the same time as the bridge was built. It was the original Toll house used to collect the payment for people crossing between Newton Stewart and Minnigaff. The old wooden bridge and ford was replaced in 1813 John Rennie (The Elder) won the honour of the commission. Thomas Telford his competitor also submitted plans. Thank you for your booking.

Osprey Cottage sits only 20 meters from the beach in the pretty coastal fishing village of Dunure, benefitting from: Lounge, kitchen, bathroom (no bath) & 3 bedrooms, bedroom 1 on the ground floor with a king-size bed, bedroom 2 is upstairs, with a double bed and a en-suite shower room. Bedroom 3 is open plan with stairs leading down to the living area please see photos), sleeps 5, private parking, unlimited Wi-Fi, log burner, oil central heating, sea and castle views. The Summer Hoose, a stunningly stylish cabin that’s the perfect place to retreat beside the fire, drink in hand and record player on. Nestled on Main Street in the picturesque village of Straiton they are just a stones throw from the local amenities. Sorry strictly no pets.

Well appointed cottage with spectacular setting and very private. Panoramic views over Luce Bay. Mull of Galloway lighthouse is the view from your double bed. Please note electric cars can be charged at Wigtown or Whithorn. Fast charges 50kw and 25p/kilowatt. Cottage wiring and fuses not suitable. The low power adds 4miles per charge and puts a great strain on the wiring/fuses. Like leaving a 8 bar heater on therefore not available at the cottage.

Galloway Garden Cottage (dogs welcome)

Small but perfectly formed one bedroom cottage located in a quiet village in the grounds of and Old Manse. We are one mile from the coast and the larger village of Port William where you can find local amenities. Ideal for a couple, we can also provide a cot/cot bed if required. We welcome dogs with well behaved owners!
