Whether you're looking for a one night business stopover, a couple of nights to attend a wedding at the Brig O'Doon, or a self catering holiday break, Doonbank Cottage's Bothy offers an exclusive, flexible & private accommodation. The Bothy is a beautifully presented & spacious, one bed detached house. Set in 4 acres of woodland on the banks of the River Doon & forming part of Doonbank Cottage's woodland garden, it is a very peaceful and quiet location. One (medium sized) dog allowed.

The open-plan living room has a full kitchen with everything needed for a short or longer stay. There is a Smart TV, blue-tooth speaker, dining and sitting area. There is a utility room with washer dryer, iron and board, safe and picnic basket and rug. Outside there is a fenced garden with seating and fire pit. Parking is immediately outside the garden.

With off street parking, Wifi and a private seating area to the rear of the property. Barr has its own Community Store should you require provisions.

Close by is Culzean Castle, the beautiful Ayrshire coast, Robert Burns Museum, the Dark Sky Park, Galloway Forest Park and Ayr Racecourse. There are also some world-class golf courses. Kirkmichael has an excellent pub, café, shop and bowling green.
