Family-friendly vacation rentals in Balingen

The flat was clean and had a lovely balcony overlooking the river, there were many walks to choose from which went directly from the house. There is tourist information in the next village along which can be walked to as its about 3km away. It was not made clear that there is only one bedroom, this is large and has lots of storage so is a nice room, the second bed is actually is a fold away one in the lounge area. This was not a problem for myself and my friend but just something to be aware of if you were wanting more privacy. The flat is self contained but it is within the house itself, there are a number of other flats within the building, if you are expecting it to be separate its not. There was occasionally a small amount of noise from the private part of the house where the host lives but this was not intrusive, just the children playing. Be aware that you will need to pay tourist tax at the end of your stay, its about one euro per person per day.

Everything is great, as always! Small criticism of bedrooms on the upper floor: there were hardly any ways to hang clothes here. We will be happy to come back

Apartment, location and host really leave nothing to be desired. Communication with Falk is really outstanding and very personal. The property and location are fantastic. It is the details that will be happy to bring you back. The amenities are really extensive and the whole design of the interior design is very loving. We spent incredibly beautiful days, amid the forest. Whether we saw the sunrise on the balcony in the morning or at the fire pit in the evening - everything gives you the feeling of being in a very special place. We will definitely be back!

We were there with our baby and were able to sleep well thanks to the apartment layout without having to limit ourselves. The bed was comfortable and nice and big. The use of the swimming pool was great and thanks to the warm hot tub, the baby could also splash around. The place itself was not sooo suitable for strollers, but that should not be a KO criterion. Easy to use both in the rain and in the sun for excursions/sauna day. Super mix of independence with the kitchen and the extra (living)room, and the amenities of a hotel such as room service or massage offer.

I had a great stay and Steffen was very helpful. 10/10 and would recommend to anyone who looking for a place to stay in Balingen. Will definitely be coming back!

We were a large group of friends with children and dogs. We had the whole house and it was perfect, we could be a community and yet everyone had their own bedroom & bathroom. Beautiful & quiet! Shopping not far away as well as a bakery around the corner on Sundays. Gerhard was a great host, relaxed, flexible and always answered immediately. 100% recommendation!

We were with 15 people in the Schweizerhaus Alpirsbach. We had a great time, the location is fantastic and very quiet. Space for bedrooms, bathrooms and lounges is sufficiently available. The amenities are exceptionally good and of high quality. The view from the living room on the Black Forest is a dream :) Communication with Falk was always great and also very flexible. It is definitely a highlight and worth a visit!!

We had a wonderful stay at the fairytale house in the middle of the woods. Especially the two beautiful seats are real highlights. The kitchen was very well equipped and we also felt right at home in the dining/living room. We arrived with our (in-laws)parents and two small dogs. The layout of the house with each bathroom/toilet and bedroom on the ground floor and the 1st upper floor is optimal for this; because you can retreat at any time and enjoy some privacy. The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful Kinzigtal; shopping is also a few minutes away by car or bicycle. Check-in and communication with the landlords was straightforward. There was only something that we had pretty much underestimated: the number of ticks around the house. It is highly recommended - especially in spring - to take tick protection products with you and to protect the children and also dogs from these animals by all means.

It’s a really nice and spacious apartment in Ammerbuch. I was very grateful for the late check out time of 1pm, as I had a train in the afternoon. Kitchen is also fully equipped.

We had 5 wonderful days in the Black Forest and will be happy to come back! Heidi and her husband are very child-friendly and attentive to the well-being of their guests. Clear recommendation to vacation here:)

The host Uschi was great

The little bungalow is exactly what was advertised, which is great! The space is very efficiently used, and the bungalow has everything you will need. All in all a very great stay even though it is not the cheapest. But it is also very unique!

Wonderful host would highly reccommend, perfect for business or pleasure.

Claudia's house is a gem - a mix of style icons, museum and antique shop. Those who are prone to too many impressions per square meter will not feel comfortable. Everyone else will be very excited. Big pluses: the well-equipped kitchen, the sociable guest and pub room as well as the garden with diverse barbecue facilities - and if necessary - an outdoor kitchen. We felt very comfortable.

Ulrike and Martin were lovely, friendly, helpful hosts. We enjoyed the accommodation, surroundings and particularly the view! They gave helpful information about things we could do nearby with the small humans and provided 2 cots and 2 highchairs and there were quite a few children's books too. Would definitely recommend staying here for a peaceful, relaxing stay in the black forest with lovely hosts.

We (my two dogs and I) felt very comfortable in the lovingly furnished and well-equipped apartment. Everything was clean and well maintained. I was especially pleased that a small corner with a feeding bowl, water and treats for the dogs was also available. It was also very nice that after a few minutes we were in the open field and could walk there in beautiful countryside. The time out did me a lot of good. Thank you for everything. :)

A beautiful AirBnb! We felt very comfortable in the apartment Very clean and cozy. The property is very quiet. Perfect for a little getaway. The apartment has had close to everything you need for a short vacation. Wifi in the object is probably already an issue, as we could hear from the conversation with the lady on site. In general, the contact was very friendly, courteous and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay at this cozy and well laid out apartment. We also enjoyed the pool. Well-marked hikes in the area.

It was a great stay in Katja's place. She is superhost who has entertained every kind of request. Initially we have booked for one family. After few days another family wanted to join us and it was taken care with no hastle. Checkin procedure, location, surrounding, in house amenities was great as described. I could not find iron (press) inside the room. I requested Katja and she had arranged a brand new one next morning. Great hosting.

Quiet apartment equipped with all comforts in a condominium also equipped with swimming pool, sauna and gym. The condominium and apartment accept dogs, which is definitely a plus! If you love hiking, you'll be a stone's throw from the start of several trails that cross the Black Forest. recommended!

Dear Marco, dear Daniela, Thank you so much for the nice week with you at the equestrian farm. We felt comfortable with you from the first minute! Our hosts have responded very flexibly to everything from late check-in, Wi-Fi access at a late hour, etc. The airbnb is wonderfully located a little away from Lake Constance and yet you are in beautiful swimming spots in 15-20 minutes. Marco delighted us and much more our 2-year-old son with tractor riding, horse petting and much more. I'm sure we'll be back!

We had a great 3 days in your apartment, which was very clean, the sauna and swimming pool was a plus and you wrote to me immediately, were always available and everything worked without any problems! In the apartment is everything you need, as shown in the photos! We slept great in the beds and enjoyed going to the sauna! Thanks for letting us check out later!

This was a gem in the beautiful Black Forest. People at stores and restaurants were very friendly and helpful. Bus service into Triberg was convenient and there were so many things to see and do in Triberg and other surrounding towns. And best of all, there were lots of walking trails in the forest that we loved exploring. You can also walk to ski areas. The view from the balcony was spectacular. The apartment was clean and well stocked with everything you would need for a great holiday. In the basement there is a washer and dryer. And there is a pool and sauna. We were also given good ideas of things to see and do during our visit.
