The location could not be better as the home is a stone's throw from Chapman University (just 1/2 a block) and is only 1 1/2 blocks from the Plaza and on a an Old Towne Orange Spoke street! Brand new carpet, paint and fresh linens! You will feel as if every detail has been thought of because it has! You will have access to the entire upstairs 2- bedroom (plus office room) apartment. Your private entrance is on the side of the home just up the brown staircase. Rafael is a favorite host here in Old Towne Orange. He is very responsive and helpful should you need anything yet he will never intrude. Within easy walking distance are fantastic coffee shops, restaurants, and antique shops. Unsurprisingly, Old Towne Orange has repeatedly been voted Orange County's 'Favorite Downtown'. Every Saturday, there's also a wonderful farmers' market nearby. Close to public transportation; most people love the walkability! Prices may vary with holidays and local events. The house was renovated with all new appliances and decor, but the chic cottage feeling reminds you that you are on the charming Island of Balboa, Many of our repeat visitors are 3 generation families. the grandparents, children and grandchildren, who love their "trundle room". The sand and bay are just steps away. Bikes, SUPs, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, games, for both inside and out. We even have a baby pool to use on the patio for little ones. Also a port a crib and high chair if needed. There is a tenant in back who will share the W/D in the garage, but the rest of the property and equipment is yours. I usually meet the guests on arrival to show them around and of course to meet them. I live just a few miles away, so am available if they havr questions, The home is situated on Balboa Island, a little-known gem. Main Street, which is just 2 blocks away, has unique shops and several restaurants. The ferry to Newport Beach is just a short walk from the house. Kayak, bike, paddle board, or simply relax on the beach. Walking or biking are the easiest ways to navigate the Island! We have a garage for your use, and Fashion Island and Newport Beach are close by. Balboa is a lovely little community and some of our neighbors live there year round, so we ask our guests to respect that the houses are close by, and to bring their visiting inside at 10 on weekdays and 11 on the weekends.
