It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Balaton as well as the heritage town of Tihany. Couples, families and groups of friends are welcome to stay in my heritage home. Extra 830 HUF has to be paid as tourist tax by each person for each night above 18 year olds.For 1-2 night stays and for pets have extra charge.

It is an ideal choice for those who want to get away from the city noise and enjoy the nature.The place is named after a bird called the hoopoe which lives in the area and is most often seen on the way to the cottage when taking a powder bath. Upstairs, there's also a play corner for kids to enjoy their time together. The building, which is over 100 years old, has a unique atmosphere. The old windows, tiled stove, high ceilings all enhance the patina of the house.

From 3 minutes walk, across the elictric railroad tracks you can find a supermarket, a pharmacy and the well known Öreg Halász restaurant.

Kalácsház stands on an undisturbed small estate. It's an ideal place to get away and relax for a while. And in the evening, you can bathe under the stars in the outdoor tub. The house has air conditioning to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. A hot relaxing bath after the trip is ideal in the two-person tub.
