Monthly Rentals in Badolato

What a place!!! Totally stunning. We could have stayed so much longer but sadly it was booked up. We got up at 5.30am to drink tea and to watch the sun rise over the Ionian Sea from the infinity terrace outside our room. Breathtakingly beautiful place. Don’t miss Monica’s incredible terraced gardens, 🌸 full of butterflies and local fauna, lavender, grape vine clad pergolas, a big white mulberry tree, and an abundant herb bed. The atmosphere and views from here are equally exquisite. This is one of the most precious and perfect places we’ve ever stayed. Thank you again Monica, you have a magic touch and have created a little tranquil corner of paradise in Calabria. 🫶🏻 Breathtaking.

Beautiful location, clean and finished in every detail, located in a charming village. The owner was very kind and gave us a lot of useful information to make our vacation even more beautiful .

Badolato is very charming and Enzo's house was very personal, tasteful and cozy. We didn't always have sunny weather, but the terrace with its magnificent view was our favorite place. It was a little difficult to find there, as Badolato is very winding and the GPS reaches its limits. We should have asked Pina and Mimmo for help in the restaurant on the big square, then we could have saved ourselves the search. But Badolato is a very special place - I don't understand how people have managed to bring it back to life. It is built and restored in many corners. It is authentic and has not been spoiled anywhere. Shopping and eating in the village directly - are tied to the usual times. Shopping outside the box is possible on the coast. We found our small rental car very helpful - a large car is not useful for many reasons - but especially because of the alleys. We hope to see you again.

Wonderful place were you feel like you are actually helping someone out who was part of the revitalization effort of this previously almost abandoned village, like a positive contribution of sorts, not paying for the exploitation of some poor soul making minimum wages. This house was previously abandoned and renovated at great expense, so it feels like someone’s home away from home. Badolato is a really wonderful village and this house has about the best views one can have here, just stunning. We will definitely return one day 👍
