These are located in a separate building, 2 apartments are on the first floor with terrace, 2 on the second floor with balcony. Each apartment has 2 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room, bathroom & separate toilet. My family and I live on the sunny outskirts of Waldau, directly in the beautiful Ansbachtal at the foot of the Thuringian Forest. A separate entrance leads you to your area of the house. The bright and newly renovated rooms invite you to relax. The forest is almost at your doorstep. It is only a few minutes by bike to the Ratscher mountain lake. The Goethe city of Ilmenau, the state capital of Erfurt or the Vestestadt of Coburg in neighboring Bavaria are easily accessible by highway.

On approx. 60 square meters, there are two separate bedrooms (each with double beds), a living room, kitchen with dining area and a bathroom with shower/toilet. A wooden staircase leads to the apartment. The front porch also invites you to linger. Since the basement is only used as a utility room, you will live in the house all by yourself - without being disturbed by other vacation guests in the same house.

A good starting point for single travelers, couples and families alike to discover and enjoy culture and Franconian-Thuringian sights - or simply for a vacation.

Our apartment is located in quiet forest surroundings but within walking distance to Sonneberg town centre. It is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, with hundreds of kilometres of trails leading into the Thuringian Forest national park from our front door.

In my house, this separate apartment is located on the 1st floor. It can accommodate 3 people and is equipped with everything you need for a stay. The house is very central, the marketplace is a 5-minute walk (10 minutes back, as it is uphill!!!!!).
