The vacation apartment is located on the second floor of a lovingly renovated half-timbered house. The property is located between Ilsenburg and Wernigerode. From here you can extensively hike through the Harz Mountains or ride a mountain bike. It is also the starting point for excursions by car: Brocken with and without the Harz Narrow Gauge Railway, Hexentanzplatz and Roßtrappe, Ilsetal, Rübeländer Tropfsteinhöhlen, Rappbodetalsperre with suspension bridge, Regenstein Castle Ruins, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Goslar and much more.

Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation with its own garden, sauna and hot tub and direct access to the hiking trails in the beautiful Harz Mountains. The colorful city of Wernigerode with its cultural and culinary offerings and the beautiful half-timbered houses is within walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes). Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area).

Apartment in a quiet forest location

Welcome to the Krafthaus, a historic forester's house from 1902 on the edge of the forest in the Upper Harz region. The sculptor Reinhold Kraft lived and worked here for many years. Sculptures and works of art in the apartment still remind us of his work today and give the house its special character. The apartment can accommodate 4 to 8 people in approximately 70 m² of space. The large garden and the quiet location by the forest invite you to spend relaxing days with friends or family.

Prinzenhof Suite

This apartment in the middle of Bad Harzburg is ideal for romantic stays for two or family vacations. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with an induction stove, oven, dishwasher and all necessary utensils. In the living room you can watch cable TV and stream via the fast Wi-Fi. A quiet balcony overlooks the courtyard. The apartment has a large bedroom with box spring bed and an additional (children's) bedroom with French bed.

This is how to stay on vacation: Three double bedrooms and three shower rooms, a superbly equipped kitchen, fireplace, dining room, small pantry kitchen on the slope, a large furnished terrace area and a fantastic view of the Harz Mountains from everywhere. A double bedroom and a shower room are located on the sloping floor and are accessible via a rustic staircase from the first floor.

Das 42 qm (2 Zimmer) große Apartment "Chalet Emma 2" in Sankt Andreasberg wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail im Jahr 2021/2022 vollständig kernsaniert. Situated on the edge of the Breitenberg forest, near the historic Winuwuk café, this apartment is a lovely starting point for hikes around Bad Harzburg, across the idyllically located racetrack to Goslar, or via the Käste cliff to the Romkehaller Waterfall. Here, you have space for two small families, or the grandparents can come along.
