Such a beautiful stay. Was a lovely way to get away from London for a few days and enjoy the peaceful surrounding. Thank you Martha and Phil for being such lovely hosts and your lovely recommendations of local places to go. You have a stunning place, we’ll be sure to come back.

The Barnyard

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic stay! The Barnyard was modern, stylish, and incredibly comfortable — everything was spotless and thoughtfully designed. The shower was especially amazing, definitely one of the best I’ve used. The host, Tony, was friendly, helpful, and very informative, always happy to answer any questions we had. It really made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Lovely stay in Shauna’s house. It was spotlessly clean and self checkin very easy. Loved how close we were to the town, just a 10 minute walk. And free parking was very handy too.

Lady Florence unique River Boat with Castle Views

MarnieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
My parents had a beautiful stay on this boat , lovely and peaceful and perfect for a weekend of fishing and reading their books . Unfortunately the only down side was that there wasn’t the small rowing boat attached that it had in the photos . They were looking forward to a little row down the canal. Other than that they were super happy with there Father’s Day treat from us kids

Luxury Top Floor Apartment

This place was genuinely beyond perfect. Exactly like the pictures, if anything way better in person! Strongly recommend for any couple who wants a relaxing and beautiful place for a getaway. From the moment you walk in you will be impressed, place is extremely spacious, clean and cosy. One thing that was also very impressive was the technology around the house to make it a much more pleasant and different experience than other places! The hosts were also extremely friendly and very accommodating! Would definitely revisit!

Amazing stay here! We stayed to visit family living near by, the apartment was amazingly clean and spacious! We had 5 children with us, there’s games for them to play which was a bonus! Stuart was very responsive and helpful finding additional parking for my sister’s car. Overall a lovely stay and we will be back next time we visit! Thank you Stuart!

Idyllic countryside annexe

MaeveRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This stay was nothing short of perfection. As a quick and easy getaway from London accessible by train and 10-minute walk, I can’t recommend Michael and Emma’s place more highly. From the local recommendations (shoutout to the Farmhouse for a fab roast, Five Pointed Star for a dreamy outdoor area and Roses for coffee), to the annex itself being so clean with every detail thought of. Milk in the fridge, wine glasses, beautiful books and board games, luxurious towels and bedding all made us feel so comfortable. We loved sitting in the backyard and it felt private despite being an annex. Emma was so lovely to chat with - both before arriving and in-person when we checked out. You really feel their love for the property and the town. Even though it was a warm summer night, we had the skylights opened and it made for a beautiful airy and cool space. Definitely an AirBnB for both summer and winter. Looking forward to my next visit and it is certainly the perfect affordable London escape!
