Apartment vacation rentals in Avignon

The apartment is gorgeous and large, love the high ceilings and the bed was very comfortable. The central location was perfect for walking. We walked to and from the train station with our luggage as well as all over old town. Achba is a delightful and informative host. Achba left us prosecco, bananas and yogurt as well as assorted treats in the apartment. There is a washer/dryer which is very convenient. So glad we chose this location as our base in Avignon.

A great choice. We had booked a hotel room first but cancelled for this and very happy with that decision. Nice and roomy. would stay there again.

This was one of the most beautiful and convenient places I have stayed in France. The two-level flat was close to sights and restaurants but extremely quiet. The patio on the 2nd floor was roof level. It was wonderful to have modern comfort in an ancient setting.

Appartement parfaitement conforme et bien agencé . Très agréable. Un seul point serait à revoir :les parties communes ne disposent d’aucune aération donc la première impression est hélas mitigée. De fortes odeurs de cuisine et tabac et une humidité excessive avec en plus une chaleur étouffante. La copropriété devrait envisager la mise en place d’une vmc qui améliorerait ces points et assainirait les murs.

What a beautiful find! The apartment was perfect. It was a 5-10 minute walk to the center of town. Super clear and easy instructions to get inside. It was so charming. Fabulous tall ceilings, eclectic art and all the amenities we wanted. Instructions were available for every appliance and a book was provided for details on the Avignon area. Highly recommend!

Fatima is a really responsible and friendly host. The place has huge space and basically everything essential. It's close to scenic spots and the surrounding area is very quiet. Definitely worth staying for a small travelling group.

Cecile & Yves were so incredibly helpful and kind! Before my husband and I arrived, I had emailed to ask if they had any recommendations. When we arrived, they provided us a wonderful list of things to see/do and places to eat. We enjoyed so many of them during our four days in Avignon! Our favorites were the fort and abbey -- we loved the view and lunch from up above the city! Cecile's and Yves' apartment is a beautiful home-away-from-home, welcoming after each day of exploration. It was very clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked very well! There is a grocery store close by, and there are many restaurants in walking distance. We were so pleased with everything and highly recommend it. Their shop is also delightful and has the best espresso in the city! Séjour de 3 nuits, idéalement situé, et confortable. (Chambre et entrée néanmoins sombres; des miroirs pour apporter de la lumière seraient un plus). Très beau salon. Tout à proximité. Je recommande et aussi la boulangerie "Augusta" juste à coté. Craquez pour le croissant à la fraise, et le dessert "Balaise la fraise" : un régal !Aussi juste en dessous de l'appartement vous serez bien reçu par le patron de l'annexe, qui a des vins exceptionnels, et nous avons eu la chance de goûter au gardiane de taureau réservé le matin. Beaucoup échanges, personne attachante. Hôtes très réactifs et arrangeants. (Pas vus pendant notre court séjour). Nous garderons un très bon souvenir et recommandons l'appartement de Françoise et Serge

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming Airbnb in the city center. The space was comfortable, clean, and full of character—just the right mix of quaint and cozy. It’s ideally located within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and all the must-see sights. Getting around was super easy, and we felt right at home. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with everything Avignon has to offer right outside your door! Geraldine was a fantastic host—easy to communicate with, super friendly, and full of helpful tips. She made check-in a breeze and ensured we had everything we needed.

Our family of 4 (parents and 2 teenagers) cannot say enough about our stay at Bertrand’s place! He was proactive and highly responsive and facilitated a very smooth and personal check-in and check out for us. He met us personally and oriented us to the apartment. He was helpful throughout our stay making recommendations and checking in to see if we needed anything. His recommendations were excellent! The apartment was clean, comfortable and so charming! It was just as described in the photos were accurate. The coffee was high-quality and well stocked in the kitchen was otherwise so clean and user-friendly. We were impressed with the stylish appointments throughout and the chic combination of modern and original architectural features (fully renovated 5 years ago) The location was ideal and everything was walkable. We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again! We are frequent travelers, and this property is one of our favorites we have ever stayed in!

The apartment was immaculate and had all the amenities you need--plenty of coffee, extra bathroom towels, pillows, paper goods and sparkling clean dishes and wine glasses. It is light and airy and appears to have been freshly painted and decorated. David, our host, was exceptionally attentive and communicative. The apartment is in a prime location in a historical 18th century building near the center of Avignon and the Palais des Papes. You must take stairs to the second floor. The stairs are level, clean, slightly winding and have rails. I only mention this due to a knee problem that required me to have others (including our host, who offered) take my luggage up and down. I would highly recommend this apartment and host for a pleasant, comfortable stay in Avignon!

Appartement très confortable et agréable, très bien situé, littéralement à quelques minutes du Palais des Papes. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié, je le recommande vivement !

Schöne Unterkunft mit guter Ausstattung. Ein etwas älteres Gebäude, dafür fabelhafte Dachterrasse mit Blick auf den Papstpalast und Sonnenschutz. Parken direkt vorm Haus nicht möglich, allerdings gibt es in der Nähe Parkplätze. Sehr zentral in der Altstadt mit vielen Restaurants und Cafés. Francois Xavier ist zuvorkommend und freundlich. Sehr zu empfehlen

This top floor apartment is amazingly designed and very comfortable. Lovely modern aestethic throughout. Great beds. Fully stocked kitchen for preparing food (nb: no microwave). Above average showers and big sinks with wide mirrors. Enchanting common entry way to the building that is partially under renovation which only adds to the charm (nb: no work is currently being done on the common entry way). Massive TV in the entertainment room upstairs. Neighborhood is very quiet with minimal car traffic. No noise from neighbors on either sides (not sure if it shares walls with any neighbors, in fact). Hosts were fairly hands-off but responded quickly when we had a question. They were both lovely people in person. Two sets of keys were provided. Didn’t need parking so can’t comment on the space that’s provided. Highly recommended.

Excellent apartment, beautifully and artistically kept.. walkable distance from major attractions. Elise was very responsive and communicative. our family of 5 had a lovely time.

Truly felt like a home away from home. Was extremely clean and looked just like the photos. The view was gorgeous and the area was quiet so even with the windows open it felt peaceful. Very close walk to all the restaurants and activities. The WiFi worked great with two of us on video call (a lot of time at the same time), no lag or issues (other then needing to restart it each morning but that only took a couple of minutes). I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would love to stay here again if we go back. I was sad to leave the Accomodation!

Tom’s AirBNB was the perfect base for a couple of nights in the beautiful old town of Avignon!! The flat was pristine and so clean and tidy, and the amenities had everything we needed. The decoration and layout of the flat was fantastic for two people, with a small kitchen and good sized bathroom. Tom was so so helpful with recommendations and tips, making our stay super comfortable and easy. I can’t recommend Tom’s place enough! 10/10 experience.

Even more lovely than expected. The apparent was absolutely beautiful and had everything we could have needed. Location was fantastic, we could walk to the city center in minutes. The attention to detail here was magnificent. We would love to return one day.

Wir waren fünf Tage in Elisabeths Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet und das Badezimmer schick. Die Lage in Avignon war perfekt für uns. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Stadt waren gut zu Fuß erreichbar, in der Zeit das Auto gut und praktisch in der zugehörigen Tiefgarage geparkt. Dennoch ist man auch schnell mit dem Auto für Ausflüge außerhalb des Stadtkerns. Elisabeth und ihr Mann Robin sind aufmerksame und zuvorkommende Gastgeber! Rundum ein schönes Appartement, das wir weiter empfehlen können!

Muy bien ubicado con muchos cafés y restaurantes cerca. Solo una recomendación, es necesario un ventilador de techo porque el calor en la habitación es demasiado fuerte y no se pueden abrir las ventanas porque entran los mosquitos.

The location is the best in Avignon, easy walk to all centre of old town atttractions, many good restaurants. Access straightforward. We had a child and two people in mid 70s - no problems. The apartment is very large, and clean, with quality appliances (washer, dishwasher, aircon etc), and they have invested in a network to boost wifi (Jason can provide the details) which was excellent. It looks like the photos and the view is amazing. All we looked for was present in terms of bottle openers, washing pods etc and it was very well presented without clutter. The building is very old and you do occasionally need to reset if you put on too many appliances and trip the electricity, but this is common in old French flats, we have had this issue before in other places, and the instructions when this occurred were easy to follow - easy fixed. The only thing we mention is that the TV on the listing has no connections (this was not a concern for us). This was an excellent stay - we recommend!
