Nairn Beach Cottage

SilviaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We are four friends who spent a week together in Nairn in the marine cottage right on the beach. That you can get out of the kitchen door directly to the beach, and from the dining table you can see the sea, we found it wonderful! We often cooked in the well-equipped kitchen of the cottage. Also with the layout, with the three bedrooms, the two bathrooms and the beautiful living room with the fireplace, the cottage fit well for us four women and was very comfortable. We had a lovely week by the sea in Allasdair's marine cottage! And will definitely come back!

In late May we were surrounded with sheep and their lambs making the stay very rural. Also with the late sunset times there is a lot of time with outdoor light. The house itself is very nice and roomy and had all the amenities we wished for.

We had a fantastic few days in the highlands, the house is exactly like the photos and had everything we needed. It is on the Aviemore Orbital path which is a great dog walk and also only a 15 min walk to the town and restaurants and shops. The garden is really sheltered and we had such amazing weather we were able to sit outside. House was clean and easy to access Nick was quick to respond to any questions we had and it was good value. Will definitely stay again.

Arisaig House, Aviemore

We had a fantastic stay - the house generously caters for adults and children, with plenty of space for everyone across the various reception rooms. We were very lucky with the weather so fully enjoyed the back garden seating and hot tub. The house is located in a great position, lovely views, plenty of parking, close to town (walkable) and access to local woodland walks. Great little park for the kids just 1 minute walk from the house too, a really well equipped, comfortable home from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Aviemore and made seamless by basing ourselves at Sarah’s house. Thank you would definitely stay again!

Perfectly located Aviemore house

EmmaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Such an incredible stay. Beautiful home, very well decorated, super clean and plenty of essentials provided. Was a lovely home to come back to (and relax in) after a long day of hiking. Aviemore itself is a great location and everything is in walking distance of this house. It is extremely difficult to find houses (especially in Aviemore) with double beds for 3 couples. The beds in the 3rd room can adjust to become singles or doubles which the owners set up prior to your arrival. They are very secure and very comfortable. We’ve been in stays where it’s just two beds pushed together and it’s just not comfortable - these on the other hand were great. This is an absolute gem of a home and I could not recommend enough for your stay in Aviemore.

Birchwood Lodge

Neville AnthonyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My family where lucky enough to be able to stay at Birchwood this week. The property is amazing. If you are looking for a quiet location, but with good access to all that the Cairngorms has to offer, then this place is perfect. The property is furnished to a high standard, with comfortable beds and good bathroom facilities. Kitchen is well equipped, with everything thought of and provided. The grounds are secure, but if you want direct access to the woods, then you can have that too. My family loved heading out each day, then returning to relax in the comfortable lounge with the log fire. It became our home from home. Our hosts were very helpful and prompt to respond to any questions. We really hope that we get a chance to return.

Morile Mhor Annex, Tomatin

DebbieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
While this was further out of Inverness than what we probably needed, we were so happy to be here! Quiet and rural - the lambing field was next door and it was so lovely to sit and watch the lambs frolicking! The property was pristine, the rooms uncluttered and quite spacious, and Lois was quick to respond to my queries about laundry facilities. Close to the Tomatin Cafe - solid choice for breakfast and coffee. And we didn’t get to tour the distillery but it really was walkable from!
