Charming stone house, very nice with its terrace, foosball, some games for children, the pool and right next to a large garden with goats, Lol (the very playful dog) and a trampoline. Perfect for our family and our 4 boys. The house is well-equipped and the bedding comfortable. The hosts are nice and welcoming. In the surrounding area, some very nice museums and the Etampes recreation area which is ideal for families. Recommended if you want to get out of Paris without too much traffic.

Beautiful place, a real haven of peace in a quiet area, surrounded by beautiful green spaces. The pool is fantastic, for swimming beautiful lengths. The place was immaculately clean, very nice. Thank you Caroline for hosting us and everything in between!

The house is exceptional and the host is just as exceptional. Everything was perfect, down to the smallest details and attentions. It was even better than anything I could see/imagine. The host is lovely and gave us a great welcome. I can only recommend this place and I will definitely come back!

We had a great time, I was a little apprehensive about the fact that the accommodation was on the owners' property and frankly 10/10 the hosts were very responsive, discreet, everything was thought of as it should be, we were able to enjoy the whole garden and a small area with the minimum of overlooking was available, the pool water was very good. We'll be back. 🙂

A beautiful property, rural French charm outside but modern and clean inside. The garden is gorgeous with a big pool, plenty of seating and space for everyone. The cycle routes in the local area are fantastic, plenty of opportunities for cycling and walking. A short drive to Épernon and a 45 minute trip into Gare Montparnasse makes trips to Paris super easy. Very peaceful and quiet, a wonderful spot for a relaxing holiday.

3 night stay for 6 people with friends, perfect house for our group: spacious, very well-equipped, modern, connected and very well-decorated. We loved the movie theater, the jacuzzi, and the garden to enjoy the outdoor space. Quiet, pleasant place, everything was there, especially the rain shower in the master suite, a real plus! A remote workspace that has been useful to us. Responsive and very accommodating concierge for checkout. No complaints, great stay! Thank you

Our family of six had a wonderful stay at Maxine’s! I can’t say enough about it- a top Airbnb. There is a private courtyard for parking and sitting and enjoying, a sort of Sun/mud room that made a great place for shoes and jackets (and that had a nice foosball table!). The beds were comfortable, the house spotless. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cutlery, and all the appliances seemed to be new and of high quality. The washer was large and great to have, and the courtyard made it super easy to dry the clothes afterwards. Maxime was always very fast on her responses and was generous to allow us an extra two hours at checkout. Finally, the couple that runs Snack 28 right next to the house are as amazing as their very reasonably priced food! We went back several times and they kept giving us free food! We would love to come back to Chartres, it is a beautiful town, and the cathedral is beyond description. If we do we would love to stay here again.

Beautiful cottage renovated with great taste, very warm and cozy atmosphere. The accommodation is nice with beautiful rooms, the bedroom is large and the bedding very comfortable. There are all the amenities (including baby) and small touches to make you feel very good, with attention to detail. Our hosts were very responsive and attentive. This accommodation is a gem located 14 minutes' drive from Manoir des Vacheresses.

Perfect We only stayed one night but everything was very good and clean. There is a parking space right in front of the front door and a small well-appointed garden. It's quiet and the roller shutters darken the bedrooms well.

When we arrived back at the Gîte de La Gervaise from our beautiful bike trip on the Loire, it was almost like arriving home. We enjoyed the two days there in the best weather in peace. Thanks again. Sylvia and Luc for the great hospitality and especially for the opportunity to safely park our car in the yard during our 10-day bike trip. If we vacation in the region again, Gîte de La Gervaise is the first address.

House: clean, large enough, well-equipped, pleasant garden, quiet Location: greenery, small children's park, shops in the surrounding towns accessible by car, train station accessible on foot in 20 min. Host: good communication We had a nice weekend, don't hesitate!

Williams, Isabelle and their children are a very friendly, warm and caring family. I came in a professional setting. i was very well received. they were available when I needed. they care that you can have a great stay. their place is functional and spotless. i highly recommend it.

The interior of the apartment is done well. Lovely fire which we made use of. The grounds are not so nice. Cheap garden furniture and the exterior needs a good jet washing. The neighbor has a camera on their wall which looks into the grounds of the property, this did not make it feel private. There is no access to the ground beyond the fence, which is shame as it looks like the main property backs on to a forest. We drone to a near by forest for a nice hike. There is a Lidil near by and many things in driving distance. It's a great place to stay and would suit a couple and a family. The exterior could be improved and a camera overlooking is not very welcoming.

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation is very well located, at the entrance to major roads, easy to access. Irene is very welcoming, responsive and attentive. I recommend it.

The garden is beautiful, with a small stream that brings even more serenity to the place. Special mention for the host, very responsive and available by message. An address that we would recommend without so much as a second thought!
