Garden Cottage in Richmond / Melville

This cottage, in a garden setting, is well-located and comfortable. It is situated in Richmond, within walking distance of trendy Melville, with its many restaurants and boutique shops. Rand Steam has opened three blocks away with wonderful restaurants, small supermarkets, a chemist, and design shops. We are close to both Wits University and University of Johannesburg. There is 24hr security in the street, and the cottage is warm during winter. There is an electric blanket and a small heater.

The one bedroom can either be set up with a king sized bed or two single beds. The bathroom features a shower, fresh towels, and complimentary toiletries for your convenience. There is also always-on WiFi (even during loadshedding)! In the communal courtyard, there is a braai area and a fruit and veg garden.

This secure, spacious studio is ideal for a work space and /or a place to recharge. The unit comfortably sleeps two people, stack doors open onto a sunny secluded patio which leads onto a private landscaped garden. This large modern studio unit provides good wifi, solar backup, sizable work station, Netflix, and secure parking on site for one car. We are a block away from 7th Street. 7th St is the vibrant high street of Melville offering an interesting variety of restaurants.

Guarded by our two friendly Chow Chow dogs the cottage looks out on our pool and has its own outside patio and braai area.
