Pomegranate Cottage

Annex in an old farmhouse overlooking the hills of Monferrato and the Alps. Independent entrance both on foot and by car. Large fenced garden (about 1200 sqm), swimming pool (unsupervised 12x7 meters, depth from 90 cm to 220 cm) with trampoline and convenient masonry ladder to enter and exit. Romantic old house in Govone, Roero

The house built in 1943 has a splendid view of the Roero hills, with vineyards on one side and the Govone Castle on the other. The house was my family's country house and has been totally preserved with the exception of the two bathrooms and the kitchen which were completely renovated in 2016. In 2022 important works aimed at saving energy were carried out: insulation on the external walls, replacement of windows and shutters, solar panels and heat pump.

The house, equipped with a swimming pool, is located two km from the town and overlooks the valley. It enjoys complete autonomy and allows guests to live in a typical farmhouse with antique furniture. Guests have exclusive access to the property. The other house overlooking the courtyard (it was a small village) is also my property and is closed during the guests' stay. I chose to have few guests to ensure more peace of mind for them and me.
