I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

The apartment is spacious, very clean and in a good location. Massimiliano was available and friendly and nice little detail: the table was already set for our breakfast, with copious groceries available. Thank you very much!

we had a great time in a beautiful village close to etna. the property is beautiful, and we felt very welcomed by the owner, his cute dog and even 2 horses.

Really nice there. Both the area and the house. There is always someone available when there are problems and who takes care of them. The house was very clean. Everything you need is available. If you have breakfast outside on the balcony, the day can only start well.

Great stay, very accommodating hosts, had all amenities one could need and more. In a great location too as it's very near to Via Gisira, on which there are many restaurants, minimarts and cafes (I recommend Bar Mazzini at the square), and then the Paolo Borsellino bus station is nearby, where you can get the bus to the airport or bus to other parts of Sicily such as Taormina and Palermo.

The place is exactly as described, everything new and well cared for, snacks and drinks are provided, as well as soaps and soaps. We were made to find a camping bed and high chair as we requested, nothing was really missing. Slightly "outside" the center but we reached everything very comfortably on foot. Directions were quick and accurate. We definitely recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful place! The apartment is very large and spacious. Great layout of the rooms. The balconies are a dream. Great host. The place is easy to reach and a perfect starting point for great excursions in the area. We will be happy to come back.

The big plus for the accommodation was Tato who made contact with us and arranged to meet us at the apartment. Tato made us feel welcome and showed us around the apartment which was presented with a number of items (bottled water, tea, coffee, milk etc). Tato was available to assist as required and provided useful information about the local area. The apartment was as advertised. The location of the apartment was convenient for the main bus station (we did a few day trips to Palermo, Syracuse and Taormina). The apartment location was also convenient for local travel by Alibus from/back to the airport. We also were able to access all of the main tourist attractions in Catania by walking from the apartment. I would be happy to stay at the apartment again.

Ideally located to visit the east coast of Sicily, close to the airport. The place is quiet and welcoming. Even the late check-in went very well. I would this place.

Good communication at all times and clear instructions to access the apartment. It was nice that Davide and Flavia came out to greet us.. and so kind and thoughtful that Flavia gave us a little present too! Lots of space in all rooms, plus a secluded outdoor terrace with table and chairs. Very clean throughout, well equipped with a welcome pack of goodies. Unfortunately we weren't able to explore the area, as late arriving and left early for the airport - but handy for our ongoing journey. The apartment, or rather a huge apartment, is impressive, clean, tidy, quiet neighborhood and this view from the terrace to the sea and Etna is impressive. A good starting point for exploring Catania and the east coast of Sicily. The only thing missing was a dishwasher in the kitchen, although this does not affect the positive assessment of the apartment and the host in any way, I recommend it with a clear conscience.

We stayed at the accommodation with three children. Maria provided us with a cot, a high chair and even a stroller. We were very impressed with how child-friendly the stay was. Maria also contacted us again to see if we needed anything and if everything was okay. The accommodation itself could not be better located. There is a great café that is also open very early, a great park with playgrounds is 3 minutes' walk and the old town is also around the corner. We'd come back any time.

I believe my words cannot express good enough how grateful I am for this family’s wonderful hospitality. The daughter Silvia picked me up at the bus station on my arrival then for my departure Ricardo drove me to the train station which is locates 7km away. They provide breakfast but I don’t take breakfast instead I took fruits oranges from the kitchen. The oranges here are so juicy and sweet, love them so much ! The house is huge. The bed rooms living area are on the second floor while kitchen is on the third floor. The kitchen is equipped with more than what you need. In my last morning I made a cappuccino with cocoa powder and it tasted great. The location is walkable to the town center and other attractions. Though the castle on the top hill is under construction and closed I still walk there to admire Enna and Calascibetta from the top. The view is stunning. Mt. Etna is covered with snow in this picturesque view. I highly recommend to visit Enna and stay here with Ricardo’s family

The accommodation is in the old town and within walking distance of the various places to visit and the shuttle that leads to the Villa Romana. Sebino and Marcella's hospitality and availability is truly exceptional. A big THANK YOU to both of you. It was a real pleasure to share these moments in Piazza Armerina. Really enjoyed staying with Giovanni. He gave us ggod instructions where we could park for free and welcomed us with a taste of a speciality wine from his wine shop. Room was fine, since we were lucky to have a room away from the road. Furniture has seen better days, but was fine enough for us. Really enjoyed that Giovanni had breakfast with us and we could here a lot more about the current situation in his town. He also gave us many recommendations. Best to dig out your French or Italian if you really want to find out more.

Giusy and her family were amazing! I love the location of the peaceful and quiet surrounding. Very easy to reach and safe by car. Giusy gave us a very warm welcome and kind introduction. Home feeling of stay there with a pretty skylight garden featuring air-con. We love the homemade cake served by her. It was our birthday road trip. There are lots of nice restaurant and easy to reach to the volcano tour. Everything is perfect. Even we received daily suggestion of attractions from her. We had a very nice stay for 3 days. Staying at Marta's beautiful, modern house was just fantastic. The rooms were clean and stylishly furnished, and the pool offered a perfect way to refresh in the picturesque surroundings. Every morning there was a delicious breakfast, lovingly prepared by Marta and Fabio. The landscape around the house is breathtaking and invites you to relax and discover. Marta was super friendly, communication was quick and straightforward. I am particularly grateful for the many helpful tips and suggestions to explore the area. I will definitely return!

Roberto's mom welcomed us and gave us good tips for our visit to Piazza Armerina. Breakfast was very varied, abundant and the cakes were excellent as well as homemade with love. This is probably our best Airbnb hosting experience so far. Thank you very much, Madam!
