The train station is a 10-minute walk, so you can be in Amsterdam in 20 minutes and in Zaanse Schans in 15 minutes. The beach, Volendam and Alkmaar are all a short distance away. You have to take care of breakfast yourself, but for delicious sandwiches you can go to the local bakery, which is within walking distance. Upon arrival, you will find various drinks in the fridge. In short, a wonderful stay!

Welcome! Your house is separate from our house and has its own entrance. You can stay with four adults (and an extra baby). Free parking right next to the house. Enjoy the nature reserve and the mills while walking in the immediate vicinity. Bus stop for public transport to Amsterdam is 50 meters away, 30 minutes to the center of Amsterdam! The price includes bed linen, kitchen linen, bath towels and local taxes.

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.

With the lake areas as close surroundings. Canoes and (electric)bicycles are available for free. Within walking distance (100 m) a supermarket, bistro/restaurant, café, small museum, snack bar and bus stop infront of our house. No dogs/no drugs.
