It is situated 2.5 miles from Pooley bridge and is a 5 minute walk from the quaint village of Tirril, which has its own Country Pub. You can walk the Eamont Way to Pooley Bridge or hop on the bus from Tirril. Lakeway has 4 double bedrooms, the master bedroom is ensuite and there is a large living / dining area which has plenty of room to relax with friends or family. A totally private well presented self catering studio apartment close to Pooley bridge and Ullswater and the surrounding fells. Main room contains a double bed(not kingsize) a smart tv and sofa. A separate shower room with toilet and small well equipped kitchen (but no oven) all located on the ground floor. There's a small patio at the front that looks over the garden and catches the sun all day. If you're into walking, running, cycling and open water swimming then this is the perfect location.

Stunning views of Ullswater... Very special... Perfect... Well equipped... Spotless and clean... Fantastic host... No picture of our panoramic view can really do justice to The Garden Flat. But we hope those words from our most recent reviews do. The flat is in an elevated 19th century former hunting lodge. The Ullswater Way walking route is at the end of the drive. Down the hill is the Brackenrigg Inn, with its own microbrewery, and Another Place, with lake swimming and spa facilities.

A perfect holiday base for touring the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Located 200 meters from the all-important village pub, there are excellent walking and cycling in the area with Lake Ullswater 7 miles; Keswick 20 miles; Penrith and shops 6 miles.
