Maheshwar Singh Ji is a great host, and I loved my time at his Haveli. Though we checked in earlier than communicated, he was very kind in accommodating us. The Haveli transported me centuries back in time, while the modern arrangements ensured my comfort. The food was reasonably priced, freshly prepared, and extremely delicious. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to experience a rural Rajasthani Haveli with top-notch hospitality.

Tsewang and his family were really helpful throughout the stay. The property is close to the Leh market. WE have enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and the home cooked meals were delicious. Highly recommended. Do not forget to try their homemade apricot jam

We had a great stay at Narayan Niwas Castle. The place seems authentic and is very charming. Thakur Maheshwar was a great host. He gave us very detailed instructions and answered all of our questions before we arrived and when we were there. The instructions were in English for us, and his staff communicated with our driver in Hindi, making sure everything is clear for everyone.

A battle fort that’s hidden away in a lovely village makes it much more fascinating and intriguing. Kamlendra and his wife are great hosts and attentive to your comfort. Lovely rooms with the old world charm but with modern comfort. The food was amazing especially the dinner thali that was served. Do go out and take a stroll in the village, explore the fort or watch beautiful sunset from the fort walls. Charming fort worth visiting.

From the time we arrived everything was exceptional. The owner of the house Mr. Harshvradhan ji incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. He gave us a tour of entire home and its so beautiful and all corners are beautifully decorated with paintings , books, artworks .If you like heritage things and interior than you definitely love this place.its give you royal experience. Every room was big and beautiful design. House staff made sure that everything we asked for was right there in a minute. He made our stay really comfortable and thus living up to the expectation of Atithi devobhav. The owner of the house kept checking on us if needed anything or we were comfortable or not..Truly shows that they take care of their guests like their family. Highlight recommend this place if you visiting Udaipur and looking for beautiful villa and royal experience and stay.

Our entire family stayed here for two days and we had a gala time. The castle is astronomically huge and is established in a picturesque scenery of greenery and farms. Our hosts (Nirmal and Dhananjay) were warm and hospitable and handled all our requests with utmost care. The staff was immensely polite and did a terrific job with the food and miscellaneous housekeeping activities. The best part was the ample space on the second floor where our family could chill, play games and music, and have food and drinks during the evening. We are undeniably staying here (again) if we ever visit Udaipur again.

I never knew that I’d ever get the opportunity of staying in a castle before I went to Castle Oodeypore with a couple of my friends. The beautiful architecture and rooms take you back in time and make you feel like a king! We had an amazing experience at Castle Oodeypore and indulged in delicious food (You just HAVE to try out the Laal Mass, Dal Bhatti Churma and the Tipsy Pudding). We also really enjoyed the spectacular views of the Aravalli during the day, and a sky full of stars at night. The hosts are really welcoming and made us feel at home. They also gave us insights into Rajasthani culture and the history of Udaipur. This place is definitely one of the most underrated places in Rajasthan and honestly, the pictures don't do justice. You have to pay a visit to really understand how amazing this place actually is. Looking forward to coming back here very soon!

Great place. We booked the entire place (9 rooms), that includes three on the ground floor. That’s the best way to enjoy the place in our opinion if you have a big family. But even if you are in a small group or a couple, the place is great. Outside the city, peaceful location, great views from the rooftop, decent food, responsive hosts, and they also helped us with a reservation at a nice hotel which would otherwise not take external guests. If you are looking to come to Udaipur, and would like to live in a castle like space, just outside of city, then this is a great choice. We had a great time!
