Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Ashland County

This cozy cottage is such a nice stay! It is in a great neighborhood, and the neighbors are so kind and friendly and helped us shovel the driveway when we had snow during our trip. The house was so clean and cozy and had everything we needed- coffee, games, books, a snow shovel, Tupperware, plastic wrap, and even candy bowls. We felt right at home and will definitely be back!

This was our second time staying at Rebecca and Ben’s home in Highbridge. Great hosts. If you want a home that has comfortable beds, plenty of room, well maintained, peaceful, very quiet, surrounded by nature sounds and right next to the beautiful Copper Falls State Park then you will absolutely want to stay here. Just don’t forget to bring insect repellant so that you can enjoy the outdoors.

Wes is working hard on a house with lots of potential. Bed was comfortable and house decorated from your childhood memories.

This home was everything you can ask for and more. All the amenities, including stuff you didnt know you would need were readily available for use. beautiful open and spacious back yard. Plenty of parking. Very clean and set up perfectly for adequate use of the space. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. If in the area again, will 100% stay in this exact home again!

Our entire family enjoyed Bay Top Lake house. Beautiful surroundings - coffee on the dock, lunch and dinners on the deck and star watching at night. Private yet close to Bayfield for easy access to Madeline Island and Apostle Island tours. Monica is a wonderful host - great communication and the house had many thoughtful touches. Would give Monica and the home a ten if possible!!!

Perfect cozy cabin tucked away in a wooded lot. Kitchen and bathroom were both large and nicely updated with new appliances and fixtures. We stayed there for our annual fall atv ride and the huge driveway and trail access across the street did not disappoint! Only minutes from downtown Hurley, it was a great location for a weekend getaway.

If you have a larger group, this home is the perfect size. All the rooms are spacious, including the four bedrooms. Our host was responsible when we needed support accessing the home… we greatly appreciated this. Thank you for helping make our visit better!!

Ewelina’s place was the perfect setting for a quick weekend in nature. Ewelina was incredibly responsive and helpful. This cozy apartment was spotless upon arrival, comfortable, and was stocked with more than I could ever need. The attention to detail was evident; I cannot recommend this place enough.

Debra's condo was the perfect blend of updated amenities and the warmth and charm we sought in our lodging for our UP Ski weekend. Easy check-in, every kitchen item you'll need, and was VERY clean and cozy. You won't regret booking this unit. We'll be back!

An incredible space at the end of a private drive, overlooking the lake. The space was warm and welcoming, literally and figuratively! Loved the front sitting room with floor to ceiling windows to sit and sip coffee and enjoy the views. The proximity to the neighboring Houghton Falls preserve was enjoyed using the trail on the property. Peaceful, relaxing, made use of the large fire pit outdoors with the lake in the background. Close enough to town if you forget something and need to run in real quick, otherwise peaceful privacy to enjoy nature and the beautiful surroundings.

This is a great space for a group! The pictures don't clearly show how spacious it is. Plenty of room to make meals, lounge, relax in the sun room, etc. It's right off a hiking trail and has beautiful views. Very close to town and walking distance to a delicious little bakery.

Very clean and cozy. The WiFi wasn’t working which was frustrating as there’s zero cell signal. Otherwise it was very comfortable!

Perfect location. Loved watching the boats coming in and out of the harbor from the porch. Place was clean, bed was comfortable and I loved the decor.

Pearl and Jim are great hosts, very easygoing and always helpful. The apartment is the lower unit, exactly as described. From the great window in the main room to the wonderful deck, large bathroom, comfortable bedroom with plenty of closet and drawer space, everything worked well. The garden and lawn that lead down to a small private beach are beautifully landscaped. The apartment was spotless and comfortable.

Marta was a wonderful host! She was very friendly and personable. She responded to emails very quickly. Part-way into our stay, she checked to see if there was anything we needed. The weather was not good and prevented us from doing what we had originally planned. Marta provided suggestions for other things we could do--which we did. Marta's rental unit was nicer than pictured. It was so cozy and comfortable. It was well furnished with all the little things you might need if you didn't bring them with you. Her rental unit was incredibly easy to find and very conveniently located. It was literally just a two-minute drive to get to a gas station, grocery store, restaurants, and shops downtown. Her rental unit was squeaky clean. I highly recommend Marta's rental unit. You won't be disappointed!

Nice quiet place😁

What a beautiful cabin on a secluded lake! I timed it perfectly to catch the magnificent foliage in full colour. Brian was incredibly helpful and proactive throughout my stay. Kayaking on the lake was a highlight, especially with a bald eagle soaring overhead for quite a while. The cabin itself was cosy and quick to warm up, making it the perfect retreat. Dawn’s muffins were excellent—highly recommended! Though my stay was brief, it was truly memorable. Thank you!

From the moment we pulled up to the cabin, it was fantastic. We rented it for a late-season family get-a-way. We're not big winter outdoors people and Jenna's place accommodated that beautifully. We made good use of the game room, spent a lot of time sitting in front of the fire, and took a day trip into Hurley/Ironwood to visit local shops. I recommend Sharon's coffee in Hurley if you're a coffee snob like us. I also enjoyed the European imports shop and Ollie's (very amusing store) in Ironwood. The wildlife was great, so many photos ops! And I truly appreciate a tidy space, yet this place exceeded expectations. 10 out of 10 would stay here again!

Absolutely amazing! We went on a road trip with two friends and spent two nights at Dreamwood. Our goal was to find a secluded place—and this was exactly it. It was a rare and unforgettable experience! Everything was perfect: we found ourselves completely alone, surrounded by nature—an ideal setting to disconnect, recharge, and take our time. The cabin is located right in the Porkies, so hiking trails are just a short drive away. There’s also private access to a quiet beach and the views are absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunset. Tom and Sol were lovely and available when needed. We’ll definitely be back!

Enjoyed a peaceful lakeside vacation. Went ice fishing and caught a 24" walleye at night. Perfect weekend and a beautiful view of the lake.

We so enjoyed our stay at Corey's lakefront cabin! The cabin itself is so well built and has been recently remodeled. It's a family cabin and you truly felt like you are staying in someone's well stocked home. All the little extras you need for cooking (oils and SO many spices) and more. The bed was comfy and the surroundings were so quiet and peaceful. Located just under a half hour from town and close to the end of a long road, there was absolutely no traffic. We so enjoyed long evening walks and seeing the deer scamper through the forest. But you didn't have to leave the cabin to see deer as they made daily visits. Our favorite spot was out on the dock where the sunsets were often mirrored on the water and you could hear the loons calling at night. It truly is a special place!

We had a great stay at Twin Rivers Resort! We came up with snowmobiles and had extremely easy access to the trails (no trailering) with many options on where to go. A super cute supper club was just next door with other bars and restaurants easy to access by sled or car ride. A couple of grocery store options within a short drive made things easy. The kitchen had everything you need and the cabin was cozy and relaxing after a long day of riding. Heidi was helpful and responded quickly when we reached out. We hope to return!
