Vacation rentals with a patio in Ashburton

We had a wonderful time at Little Trevio. The apartment itself is very clean and bright, stylishly decorated and perfect for two people. The parking space is right outside the apartment. The outside spaces - made up of two terraces with spectacular views of the quay - were fantastic (we did not get to use the sun loungers or the barbecue because it was a bit wet during our visit). The location is close to the centre of town, on a hill overlooking Brixham Quay. Emily is a great host - instructions and communications were excellent. We got a complimentary cream tea on arrival! We would highly recommend this property and will definitely look to reserve again next time we are in the area.

What an amazing stay, Dominic was really helpful and patient with all my pre arrival questions and during our stay. Response time was really good. Dominics place was really clean and clear of clutter exactly what we needed for our trip. We spent the weekend kayaking, visiting lots of beaches and the Paignton airshow. so central for attractions. Needed a large space to come back to at the end of the day and unload beach gear before setting off again, the living area was perfect. Really recommend Dominics place

Lovely, clean, warm and comfortable with everything you could wish for. Dan was very accommodating, and quick to answer questions. Very happy.

Nice compact apartment, but with plenty of space for the two of us and our large retired guide dog. Very well equipped with absolutely everything you need. Loved the breakfast supplies, containers of breakfast cereal, bread, spreadable and milk. But worth mentioning that there are quite a few steep steps down to the property.

A wonderful stay at Paulines beautiful apartment! Everything you could possibly need had been thought of and provided in such a tastefully decorated way. The flapjacks on arrival were supurb! The apartment had beautiful views. Pauline provided some great recommendations before arrival and was super responsive. Pure paradise! Would definitely recommend!! Thank you Pauline!

A lovely one bedroom flat with a bright spacious living/kitchen area. Lovely big window to see the great view, with outdoor seating at the front on the balcony and at the back. Decorated to a high standard and well kitted out. It is very central and very convenient for the harbour and the shops. There are lots of great fish restaurants and coastal walks and places to visit. We could have stayed longer! Brixham is built on hills and the property is reached down a flight of stairs, so we followed a previous reviewers tip and packed light - one cabin bag and one backpack each. You hear the seagulls and church bells in the front room which I loved, but the bedroom at the back is very quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What a truly beautiful gem... This gorgeous place is simply perfection. My little family and I stayed here enroute to St Ives. We holiday a lot in West Cornwall, but have never explored South Devon. We'll be hurrying back. Our two night stay was so peaceful, opening our curtains each morning to the lush rolling green farm land. The little cottage pristine and beautifully furnished. We loved how spacious the bedroom was and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I'd very much recommend. Thank you for our stay Christopher 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Had a great stay at Britannia 19, Annie was very communicative, check in was easy, and the flat had everything we needed, a stones throw from the heart of Dartmouth, with easy access to the ferries and south coast pathways that are quintessentially South Hams. The narrow street location is a little challenging, so you need to be organised in terms of decanting your luggage, groceries etc from car to flat, as you basically have to block the road for a few minutes, again part of the charm of Dartmouth, but the car pass for the local car park is very useful, and we had no trouble finding a space there, and once we had found the shortcut alleyway, it was literally a couple of minutes walk from the flat. Would certainly recommend this flat and this location.

We stayed for 2 nights at Sarah's cottage and we were delighted with the facilities and location. It was around the corner from the High Street and was ideally positioned for shopping, restaurants and even the Steam Train. We would love to come back next time we visit! Thank you, Sarah

Just got back from a lovely few days break in this beautiful cottage. James is a very welcoming and friendly host and along with the information book in the cottage we had everything we needed to know. The cottage was just perfect and the outside and surrounding garden is like a scene from a fairytale. If you’re looking for peace and relaxation , then this is definitely the place. Inside the cottage , there are lots of beautiful original features alongside more modern amenities. Everything that you could possibly need to make your stay more comfortable has been carefully thought about by the hosts. It’s in a great location to get to places like Torquay, Dartmouth and Brixham. All in all a fabulous place to stay for some much needed R&R.

Luke is a fabulous host! Not only is the cottage idyllic, peaceful and charming, but Luke left us some goodies for our arrival. These included a bottle of fizz, some delicious bread and eggs from the chickens he keeps on his small holding. There was loads of good recommendations for walks and activities within the cottage and Luke trod a wonderful balance between giving us our space and being there to offer advice and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside!

We absolutely loved our stay at Boundary cottage! It’s beautifully designed with gorgeous high quality interiors. It was just right for us - two adults and two children. Everything was provided for a child friendly stay (high chair, stair gate, travel cot, kids tableware). The cottage is compact but has made the most of all space for useful storage, it had everything we needed. Highlights for us were the beautiful bed linen, the gorgeous bathroom with uninterrupted views into the fields with the cows and the lovely walk straight out of the front door down the farm track. Our kids adored the cows and the little play area was a welcome occasional distraction!

The Italian Garden is a magical respite. Down a tiny country road, near mostly farmland and hills, you’ll find this incredible hideaway. We arrived at night and will admit didn’t do much research before booking (although there’s a lot of info online if you search theitaliangarden)- so were shocked to find that this gorgeous home is nestled just in front of nearly four acres of a phenomenal private garden that you often have to yourself. Words can’t do it justice … just go! The house itself has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you can imagine to cook or bake. There’s a gas fireplace for cold nights, and an outdoor fire bowl. Every bit of the house is luxurious and comfortable. It’s in an extremely quiet part of southern Devon, but just a 15 minute drive from bustling Totnes with unique restaurants and shops. There are many other nearby towns to explore, and Dartmoor is also very close by for gorgeous walks and landscape. Our week flew by - we can’t more highly recommend i

Fabulous … from first booking to leaving. Anita was more than helpful, arranging a taxi for our evening out, way before we arrived. Martin greeted us and even drove us to our lunch venue ! The house is more than fabulous.Everything was spotless and so comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and we all were sad that we went out for a ( slightly disappointing) meal when we could have cooked up a feast at home with the beautiful views … particularly as we had all been inspired by our fabulous cookery course at Ground Up Cookery School in Chudleigh . 100% recommended. Just about a 5 minute drive away, but book ahead . Love that , if we return with our dogs, the garden is enclosed. Plus there is a field that they could run in … not enclosed, but our dogs have excellent recall so would be fine. Cannot recommend more highly. Thanks so much Anita and Martin.

Waye House was the perfect setting for our half-term break. This majestic property is full of character and emanates the warmth of a family home. The large garden is full of flowers and plants with ample places to sit and enjoy the tranquility. We were particularly fond of the hammocks! The kitchen is very well equipped, this was the first holiday rental I’ve had where every gadget/utensil was available. We enjoyed the welcome breakfast items. The bedrooms were comfortable and the lounge areas felt very grand yet comfortable at the same time. Ashburton is well worth a visit and we can recommend visiting Quirky Bird and the deli. The River Dart Country Park was a big hit with the younger members of our group who enjoyed all manner of outdoor pursuits. Our hosts were extremely helpful and friendly and we all really appreciated their support. Waye House is much more than just a base for exploring Devon. It’s a fabulous property which we thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommended.

A fabulous place for our stay. Quiet and private but close to all amenities which meant that we could walk everywhere. The apartment had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. The little gifts left for us were the extra touch that made it even better. Thank you so much - we will definitely be back again and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a stay in Brixham.

An immaculately presented apartment and attentive yet not intrusive host. Everything was paid perfect attention to, family friendly yet modern, clean and cared for. In walking distance to everything in Plymouth, parking on the doorstep. It’s rare to find an air bnb that goes above and beyond but we truly felt like this one did. We would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Di's place. She very kindly let us check in early as it was raining heavily and we had a toddler with us! She saved the day 🙂 The flat was perfect for what we needed - spacious and very clean. She had made the sofa bed up in the lounge too which gave us extra choices for sleeping arrangements which was helpful. The cream tea, milk, bread and wine were very welcomed and a real treat. Tavistock is a great town and we really enjoyed exploring - we walked around the market, gardens, high street and the viaduct walk. All within very close distance of the flat. There's a large Co-Op close by where we did our food shopping. All in all a really enjoyable stay, thank you Di!

Diana was the perfect host and couldn’t do enough to make our stay just as perfect. The accommodation was pristine and exceeded expectations. The gardens were peaceful and tranquil. I can’t rate this property highly enough and would definitely recommend to anyone seeking a convenient location for surrounding areas. We were there for a wedding so can’t comment on the wider area and what’s on offer.

Nice little apartment in a perfect location. Short walk to a beautiful harbour with plenty of bars/restaurants. Apartment itself was clean and tidy, with nice seating area in the courtyard

I really should say something horrible to put people off... so that my wife and I can book it whenever we want to!! However.... it was a fantastic apartment, with great facilities, everything we needed and a few extra things we weren't expecting, which made it really special. Parking under cover was a real bonus. And the location was simply perfect. Close to the beach, the station, and the town. Can't wait to go again (if you don't all beat me to it!)

Sandie and Dan communicated extremely well and were even kind enough to allow us to check in earlier than the normal check in time as we had an event to attend. The property was clean and tidy and instructions were clear. I would highly recommend this property to anybody staying in Plymouth. The only issue we had was parking via the ringGo app which for some reason wouldn't work and the phone number on the sign on the street didnt work so i was unable to pay so im now expecting a fine. However this was not in anyway the fault of the hosts just something to bare in mind for future guests. I would recommend dowloading and setting up the ringGo app pre arrival.
