Giacomo, was an absolute legend! Such a great guy, welcoming and helpful. The property is set amongst beautiful gardens overlooking the spectacular Tuscan countryside. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have all you need. Would’ve loved to have stayed longer. Thanks for everything G and hope to return soon

The villa was magnificent! It was so atmospheric and charming, breakfast from Carla were so good, it was a really pleasant stay. The room was also really comfortable, with history and a lot of cute details. And also this location .. can’t describe in words how beautiful it was

Olimme erittäin tyytyväisiä hotel Berniniin. Parasta oli yhteiskäytössä oleva terassi, josta upeat näkymät. Henkilökunta oli auttavaista ja ystävällistä. Sijainti mainio. Tunnelma rento.

We had a wonderful stay with Anelida and Mauro. We had a beautiful view of Montecchiello and surrounding countryside from our window. The house is an authentic old country house with the apartment on a separate entrance. It’s surrounded by a lovely garden, very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was a real highlight as was communicating with Anelida in my limited Italian. We would highly recommend! The central location in the Val D’Orcia meant that most villages were only a short drive away, especially Pienza, Montipulciano, San Quirico and Bagno Vignoni.

Very responsive host. The location is in the historical centre, you cannot park there but the elevators from the parking is not far away. Very nice breakfast.

Steven’s Place is in a beautiful location and had all the listed amenities. They also arranged for a vegetarian dinner for us, that was really delicious. Special mention to the staff who was very attentive and thoughtful. The only callout would be to kindly share the price for the dinner beforehand, which we felt was at the higher end at €37 per person. Rest everything was good.

Die Unterkunft bei Dina ist wirklich toll. Es war schön ruhig, der Garten ist komplett eingezäunt, sodass mein Hund frei laufen konnte und durfte. Zum spazieren sind wir gleich rauf auf den Hügel voller Olivenbäume. Wir machten auch einen schönen Trailrun. Man ist in wenigen Minuten am See oder bei Supermärkten. Das besondere an der Unterkunft ist aber Dina selbst. Sie ist eine wirklich tolle, liebe, herzliche, freundliche und gesprächige Dame und immer stehts bemüht, damit man sich wohl fühlt. Mein Suchhundazubi Dami und ich, hatten wirklich eine tolle Zeit. Vielen Dank :)

Un très joli séjour chez Andrea et Sylvie. Merci pour les petits moments passés ensemble autour du café et à écouter de la musique. Je me suis sentie à la maison à Florence, ça donne envie de revenir !

I could not recommend Il Segreto more. We had a perfect stay—the room, the view, the food. Every detail is perfection and so thoughtful. The hospitality is incredible. The breakfast and dinner were the best of our entire trip. I’m so grateful I found this gem. Don’t hesitate and stay here. We will we back!!

Our stay was absolutely lovely—I only wish we could’ve stayed longer! The area was so peaceful and charming, a perfect escape. Antonella went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She was kind enough to drive us into the village for lunch one afternoon since we didn’t have a car, which we really appreciated. The hospitality from her and the other ladies made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and experience authentic Tuscan warmth!

Beautiful property in an amazing part of Tuscany. Incredible and friendly hosts who were always so happy to help us, all details had been thought of at the property. The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on too!

Had an incredible stay here, the location is stunning and so serene. We spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool, and took the opportunity to take the free shuttle into San Gimignano a couple of times. The breakfast was really great too. This stay was one of the highlights of our Italy trip!

Patricia è un host splendida. È stata estremamente disponibili nel fornirci le indicazioni per arrivare e aspettarci al nostro arrivo. Ha preparato una colazione veramente buona (solo per quella vale la pena soggiornare qui!) La camera era bellissima e in una zona altrettanto bella, anche la cucina in comune molto in ordine e pulita. Ci siamo trovati davvero bene, torneremo sicuramente!

Een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij de Mariet en Clim! Tips gekregen voor activiteiten in de omgeving zoals een pastaworkshop en een wijnproeverij, allebei uitstekend geregeld door Mariet! Genoten van een lekkere pizza party met huisgemaakte pizza’s en heerlijke wijn. Een mooi omgeving om lekker te ontspannen tussen de olijfbomen.

Aurora and her parents are so nice and helpful. Since we didn’t travel by car, she even dropped us off at the bus station on her way to work. It was such a pleasant stay.

Il soggiorno da Karen e Marco è stato fantastico! Un'oasi di pace immersa nel verde. La casa e il giardino sono bellissimi, curati in ogni dettaglio. I proprietari ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa! La camera è accogliente, adatta ad una coppia con un bambino piccolo. Speriamo di tornare in estate per poter sfruttare la bellissima piscina!

La atención de Lorenzo y Claudia fue excelente, de 11 sobre 10. El lugar es un paraíso en la tierra y la mansión (que no casa) sobrepasó todas nuestras expectativas. Las indicaciones para la llegada y la estancia, siempre claras y precisas. El robot cortacésped no nos dio problemas y las chicas pudieron disfrutar de la piscina en un día caluroso. Fácil acceso desde Pisa o Lucca o Florencia. Seguro que volveremos y lo utilizaremos como punto de referencia.

Traveling alone, I found myself less confident and reclusive in my first 2 weeks in Italy. Upon reading reviews, I had a feeling Suzi would snap me out of it. And she DID!! She was so welcoming, made me a delicious dinner the first night, and made me a part of her family for the week. I was even invited to her milestone birthday party with all her lovely friends, and then another joint birthday family dinner at home. She gave me a bunch of awesome recommendations, always asked if I needed anything, and calmed me down when I called her in despair, being lost in a field somewhere, lol! The room was huge and cozy, the shower sooo nice! (I was in the room off the kitchen) Suzi is very intelligent and we had some interesting conversations. Her two dogs Tyra and Gigi stole my heart immediately. I will be back, maybe as a work away! I will never forget your kindness and the remarkable woman you are <3

Cara Maria, Grazie mille! We had a wonderful time. Maria is so very kind and her Tuscan home is a dream. If you’re looking for a place to wind down and relax - this is it. It’s also very well situated. Just a few kilometres from Castiglion Fiorentino (excellent food) and Cortona (stunning views). We also took the train from Castiglion Fiorentino to Firenze and spent a whole day there. You do need a car though. Generally just a really good vacation that we can absolutely recommend. Leaving made us really sad. We look very much forward to visiting again.

Gaia and Nicolo were so kind and gave us a very warm welcome. We really enjoyed their delicious dinner and relaxing in their beautiful quiet garden with a stunning view over the Tuscany landscape. The room and bathroom were impeccable. We definitely recommend to stay there!

Esperienza ottima. La stanza veramente graziosa, fornita di tutto il necessario e soprattutto... pulitissima. Rosy è stata un host eccezionale e ha fornito indicazioni precise sulle regole della casa e sulla sua posizione. La struttura è appena fuori dal centro storico di Arezzo ed in posizione strategica per visitare Firenze e Siena. super consigliata.

Sono una ragazza che viaggia in sedia a rotelle con il mio compagno. Gli host sono stati super disponibili fin dall’inizio per mettermi nelle migliori condizioni di comfort possibili. La tenda è super comoda, il bagno spazioso e la doccia a terra. Anche la jacuzzi interrata è facile da usare. Sono muniti di una rampetta per fare i tre gradini all’ingresso, all’occorrenza. L’unico punto in cui si ha bisogno di una mano è sulla discesa in breccia che si trova di fronte alla tenda, ma saranno una 15ina di metri in tutto ed è uno “sforzo” che vale davvero la pena fare per questo posto meraviglioso. La soluzione che Lavinia propone è perfetta per brevi (ma anche non brevissime!) soste. Il giardino è fantastico, gli spazi comuni sono accoglienti. Lavinia e la mamma sono persone educate e premurose, ma per nulla invadenti. La stanza è perfetta per riposare ed foto corrispondono esattamente alla realtà. Grazie! PS la colazione era… deliziosa!
