Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Arvika Municipality

Great piece of Sweden, lots of nature. We love the exotic Lupin on the sunny side of the roadsides! With the GPS we were sent to another location, in the middle of the forest, 13 km further. The exact location is: 60.022961,12.656151.

Absolutely amazing place! It’s a fantastic house, huge and spacious, very clean and has everything you’ll need. Great private location, the kids loved running around on the grass and parents could relax knowing no cars would go past. Loved the private beach. The two bathrooms were great for so many guests. Angelica was an excellent host and so accomodating and helpful.

We stayed five nights in Celine's cozy and "typical Swedish" accommodation. We spent our time collecting chanterelles, fishing, with numerous great moose encounters as well as relaxing evenings in front of the fireplace. That's why it wasn't hard for us to leave some comfortable habits and enjoy the luxury of simple things.

Very nice house and location. The walk-through room was not so convenient for our group (6 friends), but if you go with 1 or 2 families that is fine.

We spent seven days in Mike and Kristine's wonderful holiday home. The property is in a wonderfully idyllic location and there are lots of details to discover in the garden. The house is clean and superbly equipped, so we didn't miss a thing. A big plus is also the own jetty to the lake and the possibility to use the rowing boat and canoe. Unfortunately, the water level of the lake had dropped so much at the time of our stay in August that we couldn't get the rowing boat into the water, but as the canoe was easy to use from the jetty, this wasn't a problem and we were able to explore the lake and its wonderful shores. Communication with Mike and Kristine was smooth and any questions were answered quickly. If you are looking for a quiet, private location in the middle of the Swedish countryside, this is the place for you.

The house is ideal for a quiet Sweden vacation. Location great. Those who go on vacation in Sweden know that you have to drive a car. Hiking area nearby and top. Shopping opportunities for small and large shopping nearby and/or easily accessible. Jörg gives tips, but also leaves you alone if you want. So great here too. Very friendly and easy to deal with. This is how it has to be a vacation. Although Jörg doesn't do the usual advertisement with moose, we saw two moose in the wild. Great. The notions of cleanliness are certainly different everywhere. There was nothing you couldn't quickly clean with a rag.

We arrived to this beautiful, serene lake house and felt right at home. While being a big house it felt really cozy and well furnished. It is big enough for lots of people without feeling cramped. All the amenities and extras like the sauna, the pizza oven and the SUPs were great and Jan proactively communicated where we would find groceries and useful stuff around the house. He responded fast and communication was really really friendly. Unfortunately the weather was not entirely on our side but we still enjoyed the lake, some fishing and the big garden. The Kitchen and the pizza oven offered us a very pleasant cooking experience and the table in the living room fit all of us comfortably. The bathrooms are modern and the provided shower gel and shampoo were lovely. We really enjoyed our stay 💗

Peter responded quickly when I had questions. The reception was super nice and the accommodation very clean, modern and nice! The surroundings are so beautiful. Glava has a special place in my heart and getting to stay this quiet and relaxed was perfect for the situation I was in. Everything has really been awesome! Will no doubt book this home in the future!

Brand new, very tastefully decorated cabin in a quiet forest environment. Simply delightful. Very comfortable furnishings and bed. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Absolutely recommend.

Amazing host, would highly recommend. The place was very cozy and the cabin was nice and clean. He met us when we arrived and explained everything. He sent a link from Google and the sign so that it was easy to find😁 We had a great time. Super host👍☀️

The location of the great property in the midst of the most beautiful nature and the comfort of the house are really absolutely exceptional. The contact with the hosts was very friendly and familiar and we felt very well taken care of at all times. Thank you for the great time and we will be happy to come back!

Unfortunately, we didn't find the vacation home right away, but that was quickly taken care of. The house had everything you need at home - towels, blankets, bed linens, tumble dryer, washing machine, garden furniture, life jackets, small and large utensils in the kitchen. Based on the reviews, we assumed that you can fish "correctly" directly on site. Unfortunately not the right thing for us, but children certainly have fun there. For fishing, we then drove to the campsite (Glaskogen, about 25 minutes), where you can also book a "Fishing Guide". So fishing, shopping (Charlottenberg), sightseeing (e.g. the Brigadmueum in Karlstad, the well-known junkyard in Bastnas) - there was something for each of us :). Thanks Gunn... regards

We stayed in the cabin for a couple of days and absolutely loved it! The cabin is amazing; very well appointed, lovely eye for detail and a kitchen that is absolutely fantastic! The surrounding terrain is equally stunning, with plenty of spots to just sit back and enjoy the wildlife that drops by at sunset (foxes, deer). Location is great - there are plenty of nice restaurants as well as several supermarkets close by and at a short driving distance from the cabin you will find natural parks where you can hike, kayak, mtb or rent a boat. Should you come with an electric car, there are several fast charging stations in Arvika. Sara is an incredible host; readily available and super helpful and hospitable. Overall, we absolutely adored the place and are grateful to Sara that she was willing to share her ‘slice of heaven’. We will definitely come back!

There were 6 of us staying in the cabin for 2 nights. 4 adults and 2 children. Incredibly cozy cottage with lovely jetty. Tessan is a very nice host who went “the little extra” to make sure we had a great stay. The kids thought the only thing that was bad about the cabin was that we needed to leave :) We hope to come back again!

Beautiful cabin with full amenities and well located with proximity to the beach (Ingastranden) to the city and culture (Arvika) as well as hiking (Glasskogen nature reserve). Kathrine was always friendly and very quick to respond to our questions. We can only recommend it. In the adjacent forest there were plenty of blueberries, peppers and even trolls - you just have to find them;-) The only downside to our stay was the weather, but the cabin, its location and Kathrine can't do anything.
