Great piece of Sweden, lots of nature. We love the exotic Lupin on the sunny side of the roadsides! With the GPS we were sent to another location, in the middle of the forest, 13 km further. The exact location is: 60.022961,12.656151.

We stayed five nights in Celine's cozy and "typical Swedish" accommodation. We spent our time collecting chanterelles, fishing, with numerous great moose encounters as well as relaxing evenings in front of the fireplace. That's why it wasn't hard for us to leave some comfortable habits and enjoy the luxury of simple things.

Wish we could have stayed longer! Just returned from a weekend stay at Barbro’s charming, 200 year old home. The house is exactly as described in the listing, and if anything, the pictures don’t do it justice! We were very fortunate with the weather, and Barbro recommended a lovely little beach on the lake to enjoy the sunshine, just 600 metres away. It’s rural,and therefore blissfully quiet, but we were only 35mins away from the town of Arvika, with its plentiful amenities. Barbro was great to communicate with, and met us at the house for a very simple check in at a time we requested. Greatly appreciated! If you’re looking for a peaceful break in the unspoiled Swedish countryside, this is your place!

We had a great stay at Jessica’s place even though it was just for a night. Felt really at home. Jessica was very warm and kind host. Trains crossing once in a while from the railway tracks next to the cottage however sound did not affect much . All in all great location - peaceful and private

Second time staying here and just as good as the first time! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a private accommodation surrounded by nature. Thanks again to Petter and Elin for being excellent hosts!

Charming house in beautiful surroundings. Very stylishly decorated. Super fresh! We absolutely recommend the accommodation.

The house is beautifully high with a wonderful view of the lake. The house is well equipped for a great stay and the reception was very friendly and welcoming.

Ola's house is a nice and cosy place where you can really relax and enjoy the silence of this region. We stayed here in Winter and it was calm and lovely. The house is equiped with a nice kitchen where we cooked a lot and has a fireplace which was very good in Winter. Ola is such a nice host who was always helpful when we needed his help. He told us where to get supplies or offered his help with the snow. We managed this on our own but it is always good to know that a host would support us in case. The village Glava is small but you have a gas station and a small supermarket so no need to drive to the next bigger town of Arvika. From the house you can directly start hiking in the woods or go down to the water. Overall we really enjoyed or visit and recommend Ola as a host.

We were allowed to stay in this cute and cozy home for 6 days. The three separate cottages make the experience something special. The area is beautiful for walking and the nearby beach is definitely worth it. Had good and nice contact with host Anna who has given many tips on what to do nearby!

A great cabin with amazing bird life around and the forest right out the door. We had a wonderful Easter there with our family.

Unfortunately, we didn't find the vacation home right away, but that was quickly taken care of. The house had everything you need at home - towels, blankets, bed linens, tumble dryer, washing machine, garden furniture, life jackets, small and large utensils in the kitchen. Based on the reviews, we assumed that you can fish "correctly" directly on site. Unfortunately not the right thing for us, but children certainly have fun there. For fishing, we then drove to the campsite (Glaskogen, about 25 minutes), where you can also book a "Fishing Guide". So fishing, shopping (Charlottenberg), sightseeing (e.g. the Brigadmueum in Karlstad, the well-known junkyard in Bastnas) - there was something for each of us :). Thanks Gunn... regards

Simone and Martin are excellent hosts, a nice young couple and put this summer hut/stuga and a laundry house for rent. In the middle of nature, a lake within walking distance and kayaks for use - fantastic. Simple amenities, as stated, perfect for us on vacation. They live on the property themselves, beautiful garden. Always happy to come back!!!

The place is really beautiful, with nice landscape and nature around. The lake is also beautiful. Only the weather during our stay was was not nice. The house is well prepared and has unbelivable view. We can recommended the Annika's place. Ela and Wojtek

A lovely place in the forest, we enjoyed the calm very much. A good place to relax, play and be in Swedish nature..
