Vacation rentals with breakfast in Arouca

Antonio is a great gentleman and took great care of us during our short stay. This is a really historical house built with solid stones. History happened here. Unfortunately we cannot stay for the full length of our stay because the rough stone stairs and stone walls are dangerous to our crawling baby. This property is better fitted for older kids. Antonio was gracious to give us a refund on the nights and helped us to move to a new location with late checkout (very late). He is always ready to help at any time. We are grateful with all his help.

Really nice place, comfortable and clean. Central location, walk distance to everything. Bed clothes, towels and kitchen equipments with extremely quality.

Our stay at Casa Museu was great even though we only stayed one night , we will remember the place for a long time as the decor makes us feel like we are returning to another time . Antonio and his team were so kind, morning lunch offers a varied choice, everything is clean. Finally, I recommend this place without a second thought . Thank you

The house is in one of the most picturesque spots in Portugal. A gorgeous view of mountains and river. I would like to see a clearer location when you arrive. There is a small swimming pool in the yard. There's not much space in the yard. Spacious loggias, there is a place to sit in the evening, admire the beauty of the mountains and river. Good internet, clean, spacious kitchen with necessary utensils Comfortable furniture, in the bedroom a very comfortable mattress. Everything is great if you want to seclude yourself for a few days from the hustle and bustle of the city. Recommended.

Wonderful house set away from the road. 5 minute walk to the river downhill, cafes restaurants etc. or 5 minute walk uphill to the Jardim do Morro and the best sunset views. The famous Port Wine houses are on the doorstep.The house is just perfectly sited. After a day walking up and down the alleyways, the house is a peaceful haven at night to return to. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, powerful shower. Nice balcony to enjoy the views and sunsets. Breakfast is included at the local Mercrearia do Bernardino, where Paula and her staff just can't do enough for you. Croissants, bread, cakes, yoghurt, cheese, ham, coffee, tea and more, sets you up for the many hills and steps of Besutiful Gaia and Porto. We will be back soon.

Beautiful and unique place to stay!

Manuel & Helena we're a pleasure to deal with. So friendly and patient when showing all the amenities. The house and property is just spectacular with beautiful views from the many lounging areas. lots of seating around the house and in the pool area. Pool had a great view also. House was great, clean and comfy. Make sure you have at least one meal in the wine cellar area, very cozy. The property is in the heart of the Douro Valley, close to lots to do, but you will want a car to get around. I would recommend this house for up to 3 couples or a family vacation. Except Douro has so much to offer I could have stayed for 2 weeks and never leave the property. Thanks again Helena & Manuel for all the tips for food and adventure. Elisa's apartment is pretty amazing. The location is perfect if you want somewhere that is vibrant with Porto culture as soon as you walk out of the door, but without being swamped with people. The interior is modern and extremely airy and well-laid out, and Elisa is an amazing communicator. We will undoubtedly be visiting again.

We stayed with Rui and Olivia for two nights while in Porto. We had a blast in town and loved their place! Rui met us with the keys, arranged for discounted parking, a tour on the Douro, and spent some time going through a map with us, highligting some great places. The apt is brand new and very comfortable and very central. The place was stalked with fruits and delicious treats that Olivia made herself. We really appreciated the personal touch. Rui and Olivia have a couple of apartments in the building so they were around if we needed anything at all. We loved staying at their apt and would def recommend the apartments to anyone visiting Porto. They had some great restaurant and bar recommends as well!

Very nice apartment, comfortable and functional, quiet and welcoming neighborhood. Pleasant terrace with beautiful views day and night. A very friendly welcome and very good advice. Special mention for the restaurant recommendation not far away, the "kinay" very good food!!

Sanjay is a wonderful is the most hospitable host we’ve ever had. We’re grateful for his communication, allowing us to check-in early, and creating a cozy and homey space for us. We recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a place to relax while being in proximity to downtown Porto. What an apartment! Small but fine, beautifully furnished, perfectly thought out, right in the middle and almost above the roofs of Porto. And a lovely filled refrigerator as a welcome gift. Key handover easy, communication with As Vizinhas very warm and very helpful.

Weekend spent in Porto, the accommodation is very well located we were able to do everything on foot it was great! Matches the photos, very clean studio, secure residence. The walls are thin, we could hear the noise around but that didn't bother us. Very satisfied, I would recommend it without hesitation.

This is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. The house itself is tastefully designed, our suite is spacious, and there’s so much green space to lounge around. Even though we just have a suite, we get to share the large living space with another suite. There’s a comfortable working area as well as an upstairs play room, with musical instruments and a foosball table. Marie and Stephan took great care of us, always making sure we were comfortable. Marie prepared a beautiful breakfast every morning, with homemade French pastries, cakes, yogurt and juice. They truly made us feel welcomed — and you could tell it came from their heart.

A great experience in Arouca! Cozy, modern, well-maintained space. Very comfortable studio and the kitchette is ideal for a quick meal, after Paiva Walkways. Service with attention to every detail. Upon arrival, we were surprised by the famous convent sweets of a local pastry shop, the .Come. 5 star stay! No doubt an experience to repeat. Nice work!

I have traveled to many cities, I have stayed in many hotels and inns; I have seen and felt that it is genuine attention but I have never bought attention as warm as that of Candida and Diago. I was amazed by the simple and beautiful decoration, and by how clean and tidy all the spaces were. I think Diago (the multifaceted manager) is a magician, he has a gift that God has given him and he has used that gift to serve the guests. If I ever go back to Espinho I will not hesitate to stay in this charming place. I loved every second I was here. Thank you for all the attention...

Very beautiful space and architecture well integrated into the landscape. Be careful with the details and a very comfortable bed. All safety and disinfection equipment prepared and easy to access. The employees, Bruna and Isabel, very friendly and available, always attentive. Communication with Vânia also went very well and I appreciate your attention. Highly recommend!

You'll love Quinta Trindade. The surroundings are peaceful with amazing views, and the house was remodeled with impecable taste and attention to detail. The cleaning standards are excellent, breakfast was delicious and Pierrick was really friendly, helpful and communicative: it felt like home from the very start. Wether you wish to go for a hike around the area or just relax and enjoy Quinta Trindade's amazing outdoor areas and common spaces, you're in for a treat. 100% recommended, will definitely be coming back!

This place was a great end to our road trip! Beautiful clean accommodation, lovely hosts and welcome, incredible breakfast, great pool and all just 30min from Porto. We felt really comfortable. The hosts recommended us a great restaurant on request, which was great, delicious, local. Unfortunately, we were only here for one night and would have liked at least one more. We would definitely come back!

What a wonderful and cozy place! I only stayed for one night but immediately felt at home thanks to Diogo and his mom, “Big Mama.” They are both such warm and friendly people, and Diogo went above and beyond to provide local recommendations, advice, and even walked me to a shop to print some papers I needed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
