What a wonderful break from the loud, crowded, busy cities. A picturesque view from every window. The bed was the most comfortable one of our whole trip. We loved the comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Monica went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I wish we could have stayed longer, but there is always next time. Already looking at my calendar for a longer stay in 2026.

Tenuta Barosi is a beautiful location overlooking rural Florence. It is located just 25 minutes outside of Florence and easy to get to. The farmhouse has a number of apartments, and ours was Comiso. Cristina was extremely helpful with our check in, as we arrived very late. It is very easy to self check in. The pool overlooks a small valley with beautiful scenery of farms and vineyards. Highly recommend staying at Tenuta Barosi!

A secure combination lockbox is mounted on a textured stone wall. The lockbox features a digital keypad with a series of rotating dials for entering the code. The surrounding stone elements provide a rustic backdrop.

How can we even put into words what an incredible experience this was! Antonella was kind and helpful, and her home is just stunning. She made us feel so at home even with our limited Italian. She prepared us a home cooked, four-course meal one night and it was absolutely delicious. She even gave us the leftovers so we could have them for breakfast the next day. The villa was breathtaking and in a perfect location to visit beautiful towns in Tuscany like Pienza, Montepulciano and San Gimignano. We especially loved the pool and visiting with the animals. This was a bucket list stay for us and worth every penny!

If you need a time to reconnect with nature and enjoy the world-famous beauty of the Toscana region, Donatella’s rooms are perfect for you. The bed was really comfortable, the view of the window amazing, the calm of this place… it is almost like a meditation retreat. Donatella and her husband were extremely gentle and considerate, they made the experience even more comfortable. I would consider their place again if I would be in the region, no hesitation. And, as they say in the description, you’ll definitely need a car to be more flexible, or be ready for 20,000 steps a day :)

What an amazing place, firstly Chiara and her sister were above and beyond helpful and met us at the house to help us in, it’s not the easiest house to find. We arrived very late app 10.30, in the dark, we were very warmly welcomed and shown the house and how everything worked, sadly we only stayed one night, but what an amazing place to wake up to, just stunning. I would highly recommend this place for anyone to stay and I will try and visit again but for a longer period of time. Whoever stays here will not be disappointed.
