Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Appenzell Ausserrhoden

Absolutely recommended: great location, wonderful views, very quiet. The house is a charm; it targets wood everywhere. The amenities are very good, especially the tiled stove, the hot tub outside and barbecue all heatable with the wood are really great. It was fun to build fires. The location is perfect for the mountaineers: some hiking trails start right by the house, others can be reached after a short journey. We did not meet Urs personally, but the communication was very easy and friendly. Conclusion: we will be back; we felt really comfortable here.

We enjoyed Andreas' place very much. Especially highly recommended with children, as a large Lego Duplo box is available for playing and you can easily reach the slopes on foot with skis. We will be happy to come back again.

Corinne received us warmly. The place was clean and homey, we slept great after a long day on the skis. She decorated the accommodation warmly with small details, the common room was also super nice, unfortunately we did not come to make big use of it.

Özge is an incredibly nice host. She helped our family of 4 out of a bind in an emergency by providing us with her accommodation within an hour. Your house is a beautiful Swiss chalet right on the slopes and perfect for winter sports and nicely furnished. If the opportunity arises, we will come back for sure.

We liked the cozy accommodation very much - you felt right at home and welcome. The location close to the ski slope is ideal. Cornelia answered all the previously asked questions quickly and kindly. Glad to come back!

Great experience. We’re from Texas. The place has amazing views and we use it as a hub to go to different countries nearby via driving and then train to Milan. And It has almost all the best Switzerland can offer you too - the mountains, lake and villages.. all great.

Small but with everything you could need well equipped. Also great that there are sleds in the house and a boiler room to dry the clothes. Very friendly host - we can only recommend the place.

We felt very comfortable at the place. Great location, you can go directly to the ski slope. We and the kids really enjoyed it, so we're considering booking this place again for next year.

Super well equipped apartment, very nice contact and host, plenty of beds and linens, kitchen, dishes, bathroom, living room and balcony. We were allowed to use all the available things such as toilet paper, noodles, spices, etc. Highly recommend! 😎👌🏻

We really appreciate the welcome of Heidi. The place was really clean. We have our private space to sleep and to eat. Even if we share the same hallway on the first floor, we feel in our own space.

The house is small, cozy, well furnished and very clean. Beautiful view from the window and being under the roof was romantic and magical. The house is a 5-minute walk from the ski school and the slopes of Wildhaus.

The place was excellent for our weekend getaway. Everything was as we expected. A nice quiet place close to the mountain bike trail and skiing area (both of which we didn't use). Nadja was very kind and we always found her responses timely and helpful whenever we asked anything. The room is spacious, has all you need for a getaway, very quiet for a good night's sleep and cozy. Very clean and well maintained. Parking was great...no issues there too! The surrounding areas and places were excellent. A few, but enough, places where to dine, amazing views and lots of things to do. The place itself is also close enough to a couple of borders, which makes visiting the nearby countries a breeze, with a car. If we decide to travel to the area again we would definitely try to book here again! Highly recommended!

My family (with 2 small kids) and I spent a great time in Peter’s apartment. The location is amazing and the apartment very big and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the bbq and terrace with some friends. We would love to comeback next year again!

Beautiful location in the mountains. The apartment was bigger than I thought, clean and perfect for a familie of four. There were brochures about the area (skilifts, hiking trails etc) in the apartment, which gave us the opportunity to go on some good hikes. The restaurant Tannenboden was very good. Only minus was the time it took to translate the messages from the host from italian to english, but it was just a minor thing compared to the great place we rented. Thanks for a nice stay
