Just perfect! Quietly located and yet right at the village center, beautiful garden and extremely nice hostess. The garden cottage is perfectly made and really has everything you need.

I was so pleased with this wonderful place! Very clean, beautiful, and felt like home! Ms. Katherine couldn’t have been more kind. We adored her! She went above and beyond to give us an easy and great experience! I am so thankful!

There were two of us in the beautiful part of Wendy and Sven's house. Wendy welcomed us and showed us the charming apartment in her Appenzell house. In the spacious kitchen we were able to cater perfectly, the fridge is large and there is plenty of dishes available. Great that there is also a dishwasher! Tabs, detergent, sponge, enough kitchen towels, everything available. Also plenty of towels and toilet paper. We didn't miss anything. We took beautiful hikes and had good food in neighboring Heiden. We also visited the Henry Dunant Museum in Heiden - very interesting! In the cozy living room, we were able to relax well and review our experiences. The ceilings and door frames are low because it is an old, very pretty, renovated Appenzell house, you have to be a little careful. We're looking forward to our next visit with Wendy and Sven!

Very well located accommodation in the area, surrounded by beautiful scenery and quiet. Typical chalet of the area. Vintage interior, very well equipped. Ceiling height indeed low for tall people but Ok for the others.

We had a lovely family week in this cottage. It is small, but lovely small and it makes you feel right at home. Garden is beautiful, with stream cutting right through. It has two terraces, wood fired grill and lovely quite location away from neighbours. Location is superb as well to discover Lake Constance. Thank you.

Thomas and his mother welcomed us very warmly. The house is very comfortable, has amazing views . The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and tidy and we felt very comfortable. It was a wonderful weekend with my family. Thank you Thomas and your parents. We will be happy to come back.

Petra responded very quickly and well to inquiries. We felt very comfortable in the old Swiss house with beautiful furnishings. The location is nice and quiet and you can quickly get to the sights in Appenzellerland from there. We loved it.

The chalet was extremely pleasant and cozy – we felt at home. The location is ideal: In less than 20 minutes we were on the ski slope by car. Great place, we'll be happy to come back!

We very much enjoyed our stay in the middle of nature and felt very welcome. The view was beautiful and there were great excursion options nearby. Feeding the chickens, rabbits and sheep every morning was an absolute highlight for our kids and the apartment is perfectly equipped for family holidays with toys, child seat, changing table, baby bed, sandboxes, etc. We were also allowed to use the grill and were able to end the beautiful May days wonderfully. Speaking of sounds: The Toggenburg Sound Trail, which can be reached super quickly by bus and mountain railway, is worth a visit. Thanks, Andrea and Peter, for the hospitality. Very friendly, helpful hosts. Beautiful, well-kept and well-equipped apartment with large furnished terrace and great views. We enjoyed our stay in Rebstein very much and were also culinary on our account. Rebstein is well developed in terms of public transport. Since the apartment is a little higher in the slope, it is more suitable for guests with car, but not exclusively!

Very lovely place with an extremely pleasant vibe. Even had a very friendly cat for company! The stay itself offers a lot of activities so I could easily stay much much longer 😊

We had a great time at the cottage on the Sitter. It is really very cozy and equipped with everything you need. The location is idyllic. The communication with Claudia was always straightforward and friendly.

The apartment and especially the terrace have a perfect view of the lake. The lake can also be reached in a few minutes (Lago Mio). We were warmly greeted by Vreni and always felt comfortable. The apartment is well-equipped and looks the same as shown on the pictures. We were particularly pleased with the equipment of the kitchen (spices, pans, pots, toaster ...). The only thing that bothered us about the apartment was the creaking bed in the bedroom.

Jacqueline and Rolf were very friendly and helpful and I felt very comfortable in the circus wagon. It is a great place to relax and unwind and the highlight is of course the sauna and the biopool. With the bike, I was able to make great excursions in the area or to Lake Constance. Would recommend right away.

This Airbnb was one of the most spectacular places I've stayed. The kitchen is superbly equipped, the sleeping areas are very large and the yoga room was a highlight. Rebecca is a very accommodating and lovely host. 100% recommended.

The apartment was nicely decorated and clean. The check-in instructions were clearly defined and easy to follow, but the check-out was a bit inaccurate, which was not a problem as we only stayed for one night. The view on the spacious balcony is breathtaking and the surroundings very quiet. We particularly liked the newly renovated bathroom, especially the shower. The kitchen was also super equipped. The oil heater heats regularly, although we got slightly cold in the living room after some time, which can also be due to the outside temperatures. We found the smell of heating oil to be no longer disruptive after a short time. The bedroom was cozy and the bed relatively comfortable. The private parking was free. Overall, we were very happy with the space.

We felt very comfortable, the place is cozily furnished. The host is very generous with free drinks in the fridge, sparkling wine to welcome us, wine, coffee capsules, tea. Really great. Thanks a lot. We will come back when we are in the area.

We had a great stay in Herisau. The apartment was spacious with the listed amenities and within about 10minutes walk of nearby supermarkets. Host was also friendly and responsive to any queries we had.

The four of us ladies take a weekend away each year. We look for accommodation that is comfortable and close to town and the train station. We were all more than happy with the flat and would like to return. Perfect location for family friends and more. Thank you Irene!

A really beautiful place – we had a great day! The yurt was cozy and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the blankets kept us pleasantly warm. We felt like at home. The sanitary facilities were also clean and warm. All in all, it was an all-around nice stay. I'm sure we'll be back. Many thanks to the Villa Donkey team!
