Cabin vacation rentals in Annandale

We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely return to Beth’s cabin. It’s hard to believe such an incredible lake experience is just about an hour from the Twin Cities. The cabin, while cozy and charming, had everything we needed. The backyard setup offered a stunning view of the lake and made for the perfect evening meals and hot tubbing. Just a small note for future guests: if privacy is a top priority, it’s good to know that one bedroom has a curtain and the other has a sliding barn-style door. It didn’t affect our stay, but something to keep in mind depending on your group.

The Indian Lake Chalet is sublime!! The perfect place for a relaxing or active family trip—we did lots of both! The house is super clean and perfectly appointed. It was comfortable and spacious for our multigenerational group of 11. We’d very happily stay here again!

Had an “emergency” booking at the last minute and asked if it was possible to get access early. The hosts responded so quickly and were so accommodating to our request. The place was great with a nice “hangout” area and huge bedrooms. It’s a beautiful view and the hot tub is nice and warm and close to the house. Easy to find and nice and close to the cities but far enough to feel like a vacation!

Great location not to far from the twin cities. It was great that there were kayaks and a canoe there for us to use free of charge. Also, there were instructions for using all of the necessities in the home, like the hot tub, fireplace, etc. Thanks for a great, relaxing weekend!

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! The outdoor space alone was worth every dollar we paid. The interior offered many different sleeping options, none of which felt cramped or out of place for our larger group. There is a store that is a walkable distance away, which made it easy to pick up a few last minute items. Michaela was responsive when we had questions and check in/check out was a breeze. I will absolutely be coming back!

Such a nice place plenty of room and had everything you could ever need. The hot tub is only open during the winter season which I didn’t notice until I was there. That’s the only thing everything else was perfect.

Warren was attentive and helpful. The cabin is quaint and comfortable. Very happy dogs were allowed without massive fees like many other places. Rustic is a good description as it has some updates but definitely in the older side but still very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at this peaceful, cozy cabin. Lots of space for relaxing and the walkout yard to the lake is stunning. We loved the sauna and hanging out on the back porch to soak in the views. The outdoor shower was also a big bonus with a big group & only 1 indoor bathroom. The details of this stay is what separated it from other properties we’ve stayed at. 5 stars for sure!

This lakeside cabin was a breath of fresh air! Enjoyed staying here with my two pups after crossing the country to play in a stressful golf tournament. The beautifully updated & well appointed space made me feel right at home and put me in a great state of mind for golfing. Rained during my stay but look forward to using the kayaks graciously provided during next stay. Thanks Dustin!

We had such a wonderful time! We drove all the way from Texas for my daughter’s baby shower, and this cabin was the perfect place for our family to gather, relax, and celebrate. It truly felt like a blessing! We loved all the little touches that came in handy—things we didn’t even know we’d need but were so thankful to find. One of our favorite memories was making s’mores together under the stars and enjoying the peaceful lake on the kayaks. So much fun and laughter! It was the perfect family getaway, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again. Thank you, Timothy and Heidi, for making our stay so special!

If you're looking for the "perfect" resort with no imperfections...this is NOT the place for you. But...if you're looking for someplace that has just the right balance of low key summer camp meets comfy creature comfort filled cabins that have a BEAUTIFUL view of Lake Augusta...then this IS the place. Max's cabin was perfect for us ( my husband and I) along with two dogs, crates and gear. Loved the loft sleeping space, and the bed on the main level looks directly out onto the lake. You can't beat it. And clean...SO clean! Felt like we were the first guests. Oh...I did not think to bring a hair dryer...because really do you need it at "camp." but some extras like that may not be included so be sure to take a full list of the amenities. Oh! We hit Octoberfest at the local Spilled Grain Brewery! Tons on Tap! And the Tin Roof Candle Company in town also my favorite!! All locally poured! Would 100% recommend all of the above!

Trisha is a top notch host who is highly attentive and responsive. The cabin was clean, secluded, peaceful and exactly how described. The fishing was great, the lake access was on the property with a pier to fish from. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Cute and cozy cabin with incredible views! When weather cooperated, we had a blast soaking up the sun, swimming and playing on the beach and fishing off the dock. The outside area is just perfect for all kinds of water activities with plenty of space for littles to run around. Our kids spent hours exploring in the sand and enjoying the lake. The beach area was truly perfect for play or simply enjoying the gorgeous views and wild life. The fire pit was also a nice touch and right near the water. Next door neighbors were so friendly and brought us some materials to help get the fire going. We didn’t get much of a chance to use the bunker house but this was also a really fun space and a great addition. On rainy days we enjoyed exploring downtown Annandale, which turned out to be such a cute little town with several fun shops and restaurants. Overall we had a great stay, despite weather not always being in our favor. We will definitely be returning!

We loved this cottage and being close to the peaceful lake. It was so well made and great design. Every space was comfortable and well thought out. Comfy beds. Beautiful views of the lake out all the windows and lovely sunsets. We grabbed meats from the butcher in town and grilled and also ate in town one evening. This one's a winner!

This was our 2nd year staying here. The fishing was great from the boat and on the dock. We love the big deck for relaxing outside. The house is stocked with everything you need. Thank you for hosting us again.

Really amazing stay at a rustic and sweet spot on a lake. Sun room is out of this world, it’s on an amazing lot on the lake, and between sauna, paddle boards, fire pit, and just taking it all in we had an amazing time. 10/10, Great Lake get away, hosts are doing great.

I just wanted to say this place was very homey, close enough to the city and super easy to get to. This home had many games and activities to do at the location, for kids and adults. The place was clean and super easy to access. If you’re into the lake life this place is awesome, big dock, clear lake, and lots of fish for viewing or catching. Kevin is a super awesome host. He is very responsive and very friendly. Highly recommend this place and we will be back in the future. Thanks again Kevin,

This quaint little cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway. The lakeview was gorgeous and it was lovely to sit outside and listen to/see all of the different birds. While most of our time was spent away from the cottage, it was the perfect place to come home to at the end of the night with the quietness of the area and the comfortable bed. Overall, a great getaway where we could relax and enjoy the beauty.

Spacious home large enough for the whole extended family with all the amenities of home. The house was situated on a sizable lot adjacent to Mink Lake, which was beautiful and also so nice to view right from the dock.
