Buiten waan je je in een bos aan de rand van de bollenvelden met in de verte uitzicht op de duinen. Binnen in de pipowagen is het sanitair luxe, net als de faciliteiten in de yurt. Het is een plek om te onthaasten, af te zonderen van het drukke leven en te genieten van samenzijn.

Hello, we are Bart and Marieke and rent out a unique accommodation located on the waterfront in the center of Kolhorn. You can unwind under the veranda and have canoes at your disposal with which you can explore the beautiful surroundings and the picturesque village of Kolhorn. It is located on the Westfriese Omringdijk, where you can take beautiful cycling or walking tours in the area. You can enjoy the beach and the cozy city of Schagen with the West Frisian Market every week in the vicinity.

Our charming guesthouse has everything you need for a relax stay. Located on the countryside, surrounded by grassland and green. Explore the area with the bikes which are included! You can reach the sea and beach of Callantsoog in less than 10 min (car). Small town 't Zand with supermarket, bakery and restaurant is only 5 min. away. Visit Schagen with bars and restaurants, shopping and different kind of events in 10 minutes. Cheese-city Alkmaar is only 30 minutes away, and Amsterdam 1 hour.

The Cabin of Greenland

A lovely private place with its own garden to completely unwind. The Cabin of Greenland is a modern wooden house. Built in 2020 and located on our family property with monumental barn from 1640. From your own garden or through the large windows you can see the sun rise, you have a view of the bulb fields, old North Holland mills and around you you experience the lively nature. You are surrounded by greenery and the cheerful presence of various animals that sometimes come by for a while.

Unique accommodation in the garden of an old church. The Tiny house is small in size but large in living space! Relax on the terrace or in the forest garden. Dream away in the hot tub (optional €45 first day/€25 next days, will be stoked for you) under the stars and enjoy the silence. Wake up with sunrise and a view over the meadows. Beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms. All to yourself. At the back, a spacious garden room with fireplace and next to it a private garden. You can heat the garden room with the fireplace. In winter, it may be too cold to sit there with just the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bathtub and a double shower. The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer. Wonderful apartment to stay completely on your own and enjoy the tranquility!

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard are within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland, and there are no buses in the evening. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you must provide your own breakfast.

You will stay in a beautiful traditional Ger, furnished with authentic furniture. Private toilet, shower and kitchen, can be found in our cozy pipo wagon. An inspiring workshop of your choice (yoga, dance, singing, drumming, drawing/painting) is included.

The Pietershof Hoeve is a very complete, spacious and cozy location. It is an apartment built in an old Wieringermeer barn. Many details of this are still visible, such as the old beams and the sliding doors. You are completely out of the hustle and bustle of life here. You can relax here and enjoy the beautiful nature reserve adjacent to the apartment.
