Cottage vacation rentals in Angus

We voelde ons onmiddellijk thuis in de Eastwood lodge. Het was schoon in het huis en alle basisbenodigdheden waren aanwezig. Vanuit de lodge hebben we diverse uitstapjes gemaakt en op een regenachtige dag hebben we gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad in het hotel in Blairgowrie. Het is een heerlijk rustige plek midden in de natuur en naast een golfbaan, waar je geen last van ondervindt. Ashley reageerde ontzettend snel op onze berichten. Ik kan deze plek van harte aanbevelen.

Ha sido un placer estar está semana en Escocia, cansado porque no hemos parado ni un día pero al volver a casa estábamos tan bien que nos permitía descansar y coger fuerzas para el día siguiente. Las camas son de lo mejor que me he encontrado en mis viajes. Todo perfecto. Britta es un encanto

Sophie was a wonderful host and very responsive both whilst booking and during the stay. The house is gorgeous, very well equipped and much larger than expected- a great space for everyone from my young children to my elderly grandmother! It is in beautiful surroundings with lovely walks and towns and beaches nearby. Well worth the visit and we would definitely return.

We had a great time at Bekki’s place. Plenty room for 4 adults. Had everything we needed. Her instructions were clear. The garden is private. We had a BBQ and ate in the lovely tiki hut. The hot tub was brilliant! Bekki was very friendly and replied to my messages immediately. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely cottage, with amazing views and lovely local walks. Great place for people with dogs as very safe. Hot tub and fire pit in the garden, plus cafes within walkable distance also made it fun our teenager. Perfect place if you're looking for a peaceful, stress free break.

We had such lovely peaceful 2 nights, enjoyed the sauna and hot tub beautiful cottage, lovely home made bread with jam which was delicious and a bottle of wine such a lovely touch, very attentive when u need things and gave us options of butchers to go to as they had ran out or we would have bought from them, it was such a beautiful scenery and tranquil we would definitely be back!!!! The only think I would say is to not book through a third party as I noticed they had packages tht were about same what we paid but for 4/5 nights and we were only there 2 nights, I would happily stay there seven if they had any deals on. Absolutely wonderful place to say. Such a gem I'm so grateful we found it. It's the best equipped Airbnb I've ever been to, whatever we needed was right there. So so peaceful, it is remote so you get lots of wildlife and quiet. Exactly what we needed. Thank you to Liz and Digger for their hospitality and going above and beyond for us. We would love to come back at some point :)

My family and I are just home from an amazing long weekend at the Horse Stalls. The place was absolutely beautiful, so peaceful and private yet close to some lovely little towns and even a day trip to St Andrews was easy to do. The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Extra touches like fresh milk and eggs were very much appreciated when we arrived. We used the hot tub and the tennis court which we loved. We had a look at the gym too which looked amazing, just didn’t manage to use it! Overall I would absolutely recommend staying here, the hosts were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. We hope to be back one day.

We had a lovely stay—everything was super clean, comfortable, and just as described. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing break, and we really enjoyed the sauna. Great walks from the cottage too and scenery. WiFi was great and cottage had everything you needed , including a first aid kit and toys for kids etc lots of extra touches. A couple of small things to note: The grass could have used a quick cut, but that’s a small thing and didn’t take away from the overall experience and the BBQ was also a little rusty inside and could use a clean, though we had brought a disposable one just in case. Overall, it’s a great spot and we’d be more than happy to return and recommend it!

Fiona's house is tiny and compact but really lovely. She goes to the extra effort to make sure you have everything you need (even dog treats!) It was very clean and comfortable - the bed is especially spacious. Good shower and all the mod cons you need in the kitchen. The area is lovely too with a really nice river walk and some authentic, local pubs. The one slight downside is the noise of the traffic through the window, as the house is just off a busy road. Other than that a near perfect stay. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic host, great location, peaceful with lots of beautiful walks in the area. Having lived in Dundee for 3 years and returning to visit friends the welcome booklet had recommended activities we didn’t even know about. Our dog Milo was so happy with the private secure garden. I was in awe with the interior design and will be taking some ideas for our own home 😃 if we ever need to return to Angus/Fife area we will be rebooking. 10/10 would recommend ! more Air b&bs like this please every wholesome experience thanks so much 🙂

The location was superb, very relaxing. My husband did mention the corkscrew would benefit from an upgrade.

we have just had an amazing week at Jacqueline's Lodge,absolutely beautiful place with stunning surroundings.kids loved the games room,beds were superb and the wonderful array of goods supplied was unexpected but most definitely appreciated. we would highly recommend staying here and we certainly intend to return to continue exploring all that scotland has to offer.

We had a great week in Carnoustie. The cottage was a lovely place to stay and very comfortable. The location is excellent with plenty to do with great transport links to local places such as Perth and Dundee. Thank you for help.

Beautiful house in a stunning location. Host were very friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay, it was very relaxing and the house had everything we could have needed.

Absolutely perfect experience from start to finish - proactive and helpful communication, Brittany and Chris met us on arrival and showed us around the beautiful estate. The cottage is extremely cosy with both a feeling of history and modern comforts, with thoughtful touches everywhere. A truly excellent stay, don't hesitate to book !

Very helpful host. Advised that the place was ready early before scheduled check in time and accommodated a late check out without issue.

The cottage was so homely and had everything we needed. The view of the castle and the sea was stunning. The host, Steve popped over to say hello and check if we were happy with everything which was a lovely touch. The kids loved being so close to Broughty Ferry beach and Park which is just a five minute walk from the cottage. Having a pub with great food next door was handy too but the cottage had everything you needed to have a cosy night in and cook. We can't wait to go again next year.

A gem of a cottage - as advertised! Full of character & well equipped - excellent book selection & children’s toys, also baby equipment. Well situated for exploring the town & beautiful surrounding countryside. Only problem is that the picturesque wee lane doesn’t allow parking & unloading a car with baby equipment etc is challenging.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time at the Chalet. Heather is a great host who goes above and beyond. We loved all the little touches, the treats that were left for us, the alcohol, Heather had thought of everything. Thanks again!

This was such a lovely home with stunning views. It was so peaceful and beautifully decorated. It has everything you would need in a home. Wonderful stay. Wish it could have been longer. I would highly recommend this home when you in the Arbroath area.

The property was warm and cosy and was perfect for a family Xmas. The extra room across the courtyard was very useful when dining with a larger number as the kitchen is a little cramped to all get around the table. Remainder of property was spacious and very well appointed. A great place to spend time in.
